By discussing the story texts of Chiyou and Huangdi, the author analyzes the related narration of ethnic origin from the perspective of literary anthropology. It argues that historical narrations of different ancestors have always been the important topic of ethnic differentiation and interaction for the Chinese civilization composed of the traditions of different ethnic groups.
