摘    要:研究了多小区条件下宽带码分多址(WCDMA)系统的功率控制问题,对上行链路提出了一种对部分用户进行最大比合并的功率控制算法,并求出了相应的系统容量的上界,该算法的特点是动态地、有选择地对部分用户的发射信号在各接收机上共同接收,并进行最大比合并,它具有较高的灵活性,并能将高负菏小区的业务量分散到相邻小区,因而能有效地提高系统的总体容量,但系统容量的提高是以设备复杂度的增加为代价的。

Abstract:A new application of maximal-ratio-combination to the power control of wideband code division multiple access(WCDMA) systems is presented. It dynamically selects some users and decodes their signal by all the receivers in the network. By satisfying the requirement of average signal-to-interference ratio, the transmitter's power was derived by iteration, and the upper bound of system capacity was also derived. The main advantage of the algorithm is to distribute traffic from heavy loaded cells to its surrounding cells while not too complex for practical system. It is therefore flexible, and can increase the overall system capacity. This algorithm is a trade-off between capacity and system complexity.
