Richard Nixon, greatly influenced by Churchill＇s Iron-curtain Speech on anti-communism, had a deeper understanding of resisting communism. After stepping into the political circle, by joining the House UnAmerican Activities Committee, proposing the Monte-Nixon bill and taking part in Herter Committee and pursuing the investigation of the Hiss case, Nixon established an image of “a steadfast anti-communist” in front of the American public. But during his late presidency, Nixon came to a sudden major change towards communism and became the prime communist in the United States.
