| Abstract: | NBU(2) and NBUC classes of life distributions are dealt with. First, the behavior of the excess lifetime in a renewal process is investigated, given that the inter-arrival is of various NBU properties. Second, a unified study of the preservation property of NBU, NBUC and NBU(2) under convolution is conducted. |
