Abstract:According to the RG theory of the photoacoustic effect with solids, we deduce the expression of photoacoustic sign of optically thick solids, measure thermal parameter a k and c of pb and GaAs. Theory and experiment results indicate that photoacoustic method of measuring thermal properties is possible and is a complement to the traditional methods of measuring thermal properties.
