| Abstract: | Based on the extrapolation property of a data fitted curve and the discrete orthogonality of a discrete polynomial, a new real-time forecasting control approach and its algorithm are proposed. Discrete Jacobi Polyno mial Series (DJPS) constructed can be used to carry out microcomputer-based real-time forecasting control. The discrete orthogonality of DJPS is proved and several recursive algorithms are given. It is shown that the algorithm proposed is good for real-time compensation of machining. |
