| Abstract: | The technique of the forming of holes and piles is crucial in the construction of bored (concrete) piles, which is predominant in bridge construction. In the practice of the construction of Shouchang Bridge, which is on the Jiangbei Road (from Yangjiang to Beidou, Taishan), some (experiences) has been gained. In this paper, factors affecting the quality of the piles and the measures taken to assure the quality are summarized and discussed in detail. |
