| Abstract: | This paper surveys some of the work done on the parallel algorithm for the numerical solution of initial value problems in ordinary differential equations, and gives the possible applications prospect of the parallel algorithms. Some of the ways in which parallel algorithm can be constructed are considered. The major impediments to parallelism are discussed and some solutions to these difficulties are proposed. |
