基于感知熵的感知音频编码器量化模块的改进

摘    要:在感知音频编码中,双循环结构作为标准的参考算法在对编码质量的评估等工作中能起到较好的效果,但由于收敛速度较慢,故难于用于实时编码应用。本文以MPEG-2 AAC的量化模块为例,对其进行分析,引入了基于感知熵的比特估算技术,并针对其缺陷重新设计了该模块,实验结果表明,新算法在迭代次数等方面有明显改进。

Abstract:In perceptual audio coder, Brandenburg's dual loop structure quantization module is fairly good to evaluate the audio coding algorithm, but it is not suitable for the real time audio coding because of its slow convergent speed. In this paper, the deficiency of dual loop structure quantization module for MPEG 2 AAC was studied and a PE based algorithm was introduced. The results show that better convergent speed can be achieved in the new algorithm.
