| Abstract: | By experimental study on effects of coking sewage pretreated by ferrous sulphate on activited sludge process,suitable operating conditions were presented.The results of the experi- ments show that pretreated coking sewage had good biological oxidizability under the suitable amount of ferrous sulphate added,pH value and the amount of cyanide in the pretrcated sewage. It is important by this procss to raise biological clarification efficiency,ensure the quality of dis- charge sewage and make use of waste material effectively. |
