加快西部大开发的新思路

西部大开发应考虑区域经济创新力的培育和我国加入WTO以后市场形势和市场需要，西部大开发必须适应知识经济的要求，加快西部知识产业、电子信息产业和高新技术产业的发展，西部大开发在以市场经济为导向、培育和创造企业竞争优势的同时，还必须树立西部区域生态、经济、文化直辖市发展观，实现西部经济可持续发展。西部大开发要研究制定相配套的政策措施。
