西部地区河谷型小城镇体系的分形研究--以甘肃省临洮县为例

以西部典型的河谷型小城镇体系-临洮县域城镇体系为例，运用分形研究方法，对其规模结构、空间分布进行了研究，并对其城镇体系的优化提出了几点建议，认为河谷型城镇体系具有分形特征，其等级规模结构比较松散，呈明显的首位分布，城镇首位度大，中间城镇缺失，城镇空间体系呈明显的线状分布，主要小城镇分布在一条地理要素上，交通网络不畅达，各小城镇之间联系不紧密。

The fractal research on the small urban system of a valley city in Western China -taking Lintao County of Gansu Province as an example

Taking Lintao County of Gansu Province,the size distribution and space distribution of valley cities in Western China has been studied with the fractal method.The conclusion shows that the distributions take on fractal structure.The sizescale structure is loose; The law of the primate town is too big;The middle town is absent.The space distribution is linear,and most small towns lie on a geographic area which is the Tao River corridor;The capacity of spatial interaction is weak.Finally some advice is put forward for advancing structure of the urban system based on the study results.
