Discrete event system simulation software prototype using JAVA

A prototype program is developed to simulate a discrete event using JAVA so that the prototype can be used for simulation on the Web and can process a hierarchical model. This paper gives the objective and main function of the prototype, outlines its main structure and the relationship between blocks, explains each function's meaning, describes the system operation and gives a method for the simulation algorithm. The multiple input and output problem in the hierarchical model is then discussed.
