论查理二世时期议会与王权的斗争

在英国革命的强烈冲击下，英国人民并未走上一条希望的道路。在建立共和国的尝试失败以后，更多的人选择了斯图亚特王朝的复辟。随着查理二世妄图恢复专制王权的举动日渐加剧，导致议会与王权的矛盾激化起来。本文拟从宗教、对外关系和经济三个方面来分析查理二世时期的议会与王权的斗争。斗争的实质毫无疑问是国家最高权力的争夺。手握财政权的议会始终处于斗争的强势地位。

On the Struggle between the Monarchy and Parliament in Charles II's Time

After the British revolution and the failure in constructing a republic,the British people attempted to restore Stuart Dynasty.When Charles II tried to restore the monarch despotism,the conflicts between monarchy and parliament aggravated.This paper attempts to analyze the struggle between monarchy and parliament from the perspectives of religion,external relationship and economy.The paper holds that the struggle undoubtedly demonstrated the competition for paramount state power,and parliament,with financial power in hand,invariably gained the upper hand in the struggle.
