小白球菌发酵液对黑翅土白蚁建立单腔巢影响的初步观察

本实验研究了添加小白球菌发酵液对人工饲养的黑翅土白蚁建立单腔巢的影响。结果表明,繁殖蚁在饲养120天后,小白球菌发酵液对形成单腔有菌巢及存活率无明显影响,而在150天时这种影响则达显著水平。添加小白球菌发酵液可有效提高人工饲养黑翅土白蚁的存活率。

STUDIES ON THE INFLUENCE OF FERMENTED TERMITOSPHAERIA DUTHIEI CIFERRI ON FORMATION OF UNICELLULA NEST OF ODONTOERMES FORMOSANUS

The formation of unicellular nest of Odontoternes formosanus is studied under the influence of fermented liquid of Termitosphaeria duthiei in laboratory. The fermented liquid was added into the soil to rear paired termites. Having been compared with the controls, 120 days later, treated termites did not show distinct difference in number in the unicellular nest of forming fungus garden and the alive termites. However, 150 days later, the treated termites showed distinct increase. To add fermented liquid of T. duthiei will be a useful method for artificial rearing of O. formosanus.
