论高职英语多媒体教学模式

多媒体英语教学是指利用多媒体计算机综合处理和控制多种媒体信息,把多媒体的各个要素按教学要求,进行有机组合在课堂上展示出来。多媒体教学模式充分填补了传统教学模式的缺点,适应了现代强调动手能力的高职高专教育的要求。本文阐述了多媒体与情景、立体演示、文化意识培养和分级教学相结合的教学模式,以期为高专英语教学实践提供新的思路和视觉。

On English Multimedia-assisted Teaching in Vocational Higher-Education Institution

Multimedia-assisted English teaching makes use of multimedia computer technology to handle and control information comprehensively. It organizes every element according to the teaching aims and demands, and then presents the information to students. Multimedia-assisted teaching, one of the modern teaching approaches, fills fully the weak points of the traditional teaching mode. This mode adapts to the requirements of students' doing ability in modern vocational higher education. The paper sets forth the 4 different teaching models (Situational teaching, Three-dimensional teaching, Cultural-awareness cultivation teaching and Graded teaching) combined with multimedia-assisted teaching mode, with the intention of providing new insights and perspectives for vocational higher-education English teaching practice.
