| Abstract: | The paper deals mainly with CPT, one of the commonly used foundation on - the - spot exploration methods, offers a more systematic discussion of the soil feature analysis, aided by test results and formulas of mechanics which gives an estimate of the load-bearing capacity of foundation, according to the soil feature determined by the analysis, and provides a necessary theoretical basis for foundation design and arrangement. |
