| Abstract: | A Spectral element approximation for Helmholtz type problems with singularities is presented. Exact formulation is derived in the subdomain excluding from singularities, via introducing an artificial boundary and constructing appropriate artificial boundary conditions. Optimal spectral accuracy is obtained. |
