| Abstract: | An optimum design method of the contact surface appearance is proposed for a class of elastic contact with appearance modifying quantity of total corretation between pair of points on the contact surface. This method enables contact peak stress to reach minimum. It indicates that, through a large-scale and complex structural instance, this method is a utili- ty and useful optimum design method. |
