试论20世纪上半叶西方民俗学本土化之特征

文章在分析20世纪上半叶中国民间文学翻译借鉴西方民俗学的历程后,总结出西方民俗学在中国本土化的两个特征:阶段性特点,以西方民俗学为最终价值取向。这种价值取向误“将现代化”视同于“西化”,简单地用中国材料去印证西方的阐释系统,未能面对中国的民间文学现实。但西方的学术价值在开阔中国人的视野,训练规范化的思维方面仍具有深远意义。

Discussing the Characteristics of the Localization of the Western Folklore during the First Half of the 20th Century

Having analyzed the course of China folk literature translation profiting from the western folklore during the first half of the 20th century,this article illustrates two characteristics of Chinese localization of the western folklore: one is localization by stages,and the other is the western folklore being taken as the final value orientation;This kind of value orientation regards 'modernized' by mistake with 'western'.Moreover,it simply verifies the western explanation system with Chinese materials without considering the reality of Chinese folk literature.However,the western academic value opened the Chinese's field of vision,and it also had profound significance in training standard thinking.
