NURBS曲线端点性质的数学推导

摘    要:从NURBS的基本定义出发,详细推导了端点具有p 1次重节点的p次NURBS曲线的端点性质;给出了其端点位置、切矢、曲率的计算公式.本文结果表明,端点具有p 1次重节点的p次NURBS曲线在端点处与同次有理Bezier曲线是质的相同而不是量的相同。

Abstract:The paper demonstrates a detail mathematical deduction on the endpoint properties on a NURBS curve of degree p with multiplicity p+1 at the first and the last knot, and gives out exact formulas for calculation of position,tangent vector and curvature atthe endpoints(start point and end point).The paper shows that,at the endpoints, the clamped NURBS curves of degree p are just similar in quality but different in quantity with rational Bezier curves of the same degree.
