| Abstract: | Based on the chronological series data from1996 to 2008 and the cross-sectional data of 2007 in Jiangsu Province, this paper adopts canonical correlation analysis and partial correlation analysis methods to make an in-depth analysis of the science and technology talents and the development of emerging industries and reveal the significant impact of all kinds of professional and technical talents, personnel engaged in activities of science and technology as well as research and development personnel on the development of high-tech industries in Jiangsu Province. |
