Abstract:Nucleation for supersaturated solutions of adipates dioctadecyl (OAO) has been studied. The effects of temperature, supersaturation and solvent on induction period are dealt with. The interfacial tension, energy of formation and critical radius of nuclei of crystal are calculated based on classical nucleation theory.
