| Abstract: | In this paper, the influence of the optical fiber dispersion on the WDM system is analgzed. Some effective factors on the performance of the WDM systems, such as initial chirped pulses, nonlinear effects, the phase modulation noise of lasers, are analyzed too. In addition, the limition of the polarization mode dispersion on the systems is discussed. |
