Subset threshold autoregression

We develop in this paper an efficient way to select the best subset threshold autoregressive model. The proposed method uses a stochastic search idea. Differing from most conventional approaches, our method does not require us to fix the delay or the threshold parameters in advance. By adopting the Markov chain Monte Carlo techniques, we can identify the best subset model from a very large of number of possible models, and at the same time estimate the unknown parameters. A simulation experiment shows that the method is very effective. In its application to the US unemployment rate, the stochastic search method successfully selects lag one as the time delay and five best models from more than 4000 choices. 对失业保险制度进行了探讨,指出失业是我国面临的一个严峻问题,是人力资源的极大浪费。它影响经济社会的稳定。单纯的提供经济支持的消极失业保险制度可能会造成失业陷阱。长期失业会导致失业人员的社会排斥,亦会使失业保险基金面临支付压力。因此,应当进行合理的制度设计,构建以就业为导向的积极的失业保险制度。

大学生是国家非常宝贵的人才资源,是民族的希望,是祖国的未来。但如今,大学生失业却成为一个新的社会关注焦点和难题。文章拟对当前形势下建立大学生失业保险制度进行研究,尝试建立一种新型的失业保险制度。

我国失业产生的原因主要有体制改革使隐性失业呈显性化，各产业劳动力需求结构发生变化，资本密集程度提高，导致结构性失业。解决失业的措施主要有推行弹性工时制，实行教育改革，发展劳动密集型产业，发展第三产业，发展中小企业。     

A fractionally integrated exponential model for UK unemployment

Fractionally integrated models with the disturbances following a Bloomfield ( 1973 ) exponential spectral model are proposed in this article for modelling UK unemployment. This gives us a better understanding of the low‐frequency dynamics affecting the series without relying on any particular ARMA specification for its short‐run components which, in general, require many more parameters to estimate. The results indicate that this exponential model, confounded with fractional integration, may be a feasible way of modelling unemployment. It also shows that its order of integration is much higher than one and thus leads to the conclusion that the standard practice of taking first differences may lead to erroneous results. 关于农村转移劳动力中存在的隐性失业问题的探讨

分析了我国农民工隐性失业问题的现状和原因，提出了促进我国劳动力市场协调发展的对策。     

中国经济二元结构与劳动力配置新模型

中国经济发展中,城市失业、劳动力转移和农村经济发展等日益紧迫问题相互联系并与中国二元经济结构密切相关。分析了工资差别论和二元经济理论的局限性,依据中国实际情况设定适宜假设条件,结合两种理论建立一个分析中国二元经济结构及其相关问题的新模型。从模型出发,讨论了中国农村居民收入和城市失业的关系、发展现代部门对劳动力配置、提高传统农业部门的工资收入的作用以及传统农业部门发展问题。研究表明,城市失业、劳动力转移和三农问题是中国经济二元化问题的不同方面,应从整体上分析把握并加以解决。
