Resistant orthogonal procrustes analysis

In this paper two alternative loss criteria for the least squares Procrustes problem are studied. These alternative criteria are based on the Huber function and on the more radical biweight function, which are designed to be resistant to outliers. Using iterative majorization it is shown how a convergent reweighted least squares algorithm can be developed. In asimulation study it turns out that the proposed methods perform well over a specific range of contamination. When a uniform dilation factor is included, mixed results are obtained. The methods also yield a set of weights that can be used for diagnostic purposes.

量子态转化的一些数学性质

目的为研究混合量子态MLOCC和ELOCC的最大催化转化概率在一定条件下的数学性质。方法利用tensor积和量子纠缠态的有关性质。结果得出了几个关于MLOCC和ELOCC纠缠转化的定理。结论可以对量子纠缠态的转化问题作进一步的数学研究来加深对量子纠缠转化的物理理解。     

A NOTE ON THE RIGHT SPREAD ORDER ASSOCIATED WITH EXPONENTIAL DISTRIBUTIONS

It is shown that the total life of a parallel system with independent and identical （i.i.d.） exponential components is smaller in the right spread order than an exponential life with the sane mean as the system. As applications, simple upper bounds for the mean and the variance of the life length of a parallel system with i.i.d. NBUE components are established, as well as the preservation property of the convolution of NBUE and exponential randorn variables.

随机序的比较是对随机变量之间相关关系的一种刻画.在文中将证明:对于独立不同分布的两个Weibull分布样本,当它们共同的形状参数α不超过1时,样本对应的次序统计量之间存在一致的一般随机序,然而,当α大于1时,样本对应的极大值和极小值统计量有着相反的一般随机序.     

几何凸函数的一个特征性质及其应用

研究几何凸函数与凸函数之间的关系，给出判定几何凸函数的两种方法；并运用几何凸函数建立了若干不等式。
