Karyotypic races of the common shrew (Sorex araneus L.) from northern Poland

Summary Karyotypic races of the common shrew which differed with respect to the combinations of chromosome arms in certain 2-armed autosomes were distinguished in Poland. Two eastern races with the arm combinationik, and one western race with the arm combinationhi in the third pair of autosomes were established. In the contact area of these chromosomal forms, the fourth karyotypic race with the arm combinationhk was found.I wish to express my gratitude to my wife, A.M. Wójcik, M. Cytogenetic observations on a monosomic inSesbania macrocarpa Muhl. (Leguminosae)

Summary Karyotypic analysis of a spontaneous monosomic plant isolated from a population ofSesbania macrocarpa (2n=4x=24) revealed that one chromosome of the smallest set was missing. The absence of this chromosome caused a deleterious effect on the meiotic system of the plant, resulting in total male and female sterility. 粗皮姬蛙染色体组型的研究

本文以骨髓为材料,利用蒸气固定法,研究了粗皮姬蛙(Microhyla butleri Boulenger)的染色体组型,即2n=22,NF=44,由8对(Nos.1,2,5,6,7,8,10,11)中部着丝粒染色体和3对(Nos.3,4,9)亚中部着丝粒染色体组成。大、小型染色体间无明显的分界线。未发现有异型性染色体。同时,与已报道的姬蛙科中几个种的染色体组型作了比较,初步讨论了它们染色体组型演化的可能途径。
