Science Letters： A synthetic Toll-like receptor 2 ligand decreases allergic immune responses in a mouse rhinitis model sensitized to mite allergen

It has been proposed that activation of Toll-like receptors （TLRs） plays crucial roles in the polarization of adaptive immune responses. A synthetic Toll-like receptor 2 （TLR2） ligand, Pam3CSK4, has been reported to modulate the balance of Th1/Th2 responses. We evaluated the modulation effect of Pam3CSK4 on allergic immune response in a mouse rhinitis model sensitized to house dust mite allergen （HDM）. Mice were sensitized and challenged with Dermatophagoidesfarinae allergen （Der f）, and then the allergic mice were treated by Pam3CSK4. Nasal allergic symptoms and eosinophils were scored. Der f-specific cytokine responses were examined in the splenocytes and bronchoalveolar lavage fluid （BALF）. Serum level of total IgE was also detected. After establishing a mouse allergic rhinitis model with HDM, we have showed that Pam3CSK4 treatment not only ameliorated the nasal allergic symptoms remarkably but also decreased the eosinophils and total inflammation cells in BALF significantly. Analysis of cytokine profile found that IFN-7 released from either BALF or stimulated splenocytes increased markedly in Pam3CSK4-treated mice, while IL-13 decreased significantly. Moreover, serum level of total IgE was significantly lower in Pam3CSK4-treated mice than in the untreated. Thus, in an allergic rhinitis mouse model developed with HDM, Pam3CSK4 was shown to exhibit an antiallergic effect, indicating its potential application in allergic diseases.     

（BN）n及SiB（n-1）Nn（n=2-11）稳定结构的研究

利用遗传算法及Gastreich提出的经验势函数,研究了（BN）n（n=2-11）和SiBn-1Nn（n=2-11）团簇的可能稳定结构,对能量较低的异构体在HF/STO-3G水平进行优化,得到了（BN）n（n=2-11）和SiBn-1Nn（n=2-11）团簇稳定结构单环及线状结构,并进一步分析了单环的结构特征及相对稳定性。

《在中国屏风上》是毛姆一部比较重要的散文集，是作家在中国旅游时的所见所闻所感，他以他深邃的观察力和优美而犀利的文笔，描写了在中国接触到的人物、风景和某些偶然事件，构筑了一个别样的中国形象。在书中，毛姆用工笔画般的手法着力刻画了两个中国文人，文化保守主义者辜鸿铭和现代戏剧学者宋春舫。重点探讨作者对这两位中国文人形象的描述，可梳理出决定性影响毛姆所建构此形象的深层文化原因。     

Picturing the moon: Hevelius’s and Riccioli’s visual debate

This article investigates the maps of the moon produced in the mid-seventeenth century by Jesuit Giambattista Riccioli (1598-1671) and Johannes Hevelius (1611-1687), whose cartographic projects competed for widespread acceptance. Although Hevelius’s Selenographia (1647) was applauded for its many detailed, self-engraved pictures of the moon, his cartography and proposed nomenclature were supplanted by Riccioli’s as offered in Almagestum novum (1651), in spite of the latter’s simplistic pictures and promotion of geocentric cosmology. Exploring this paradox through pictorial analysis, three types of images common to both Selenographia and Almagestum novum are compared, employing an analytical tool developed by Svetlana Alpers in The art of describing (1983). A focus on this debate exposes the tensions evoked by new technologies of vision and competing cultures of visual epistemology in seventeenth-century astronomy. As both selenographers grappled with questions about the role of representation and what kinds of knowledge could be generated visually, the successes and failures of their competing projects present implications for the course of visual astronomy, as well as for our understanding of the use of ‘visual technologies’ in a period of controversy.     

从壮族汉文《大宅颂》与《智城碑》看大唐文化之南渐

武周时期壮族文人留下的《大宅颂》与《智城碑》，是大唐文化与岭南文化之伟大结晶。本文从两碑及六舍坚固大宅遗址看武周时期大唐文化对南方文化之渗透与施及，以窥视唐王朝羁縻制度、儒家思想、建筑艺术及文体风格等对于岭南文化的影响，从而了解唐王朝之盛大及文化发展之规律和意义。     

日本人的“ラち”、“そと”意识与日语的时态转换

从日本人的“ラち”、“そと”意识角度出发，通过对川端康成、志贺直哉的几部小说进行分析统计，探讨日语在描写过去的事件中，插入“内时态‘る’形”的条件和原因。分析发现当作者为了使作品更生动，或是作者与作品中人物产生“同感”时，或是表达作者的主观思想、评论时，往往发生时态的转换。

唐宋时期是中国图书对外交流的高潮,以中国书籍输入日本为主,为日本吸收汉文化提供了有利条件,促进了中日两国文化的发展。     

立足实事求是着意诠释人生——写作《荣辱人生——严嵩话本》感言

从1983年开始，我开始搜集和研究有关严嵩方面的史料。2003年，终于以真实的史料、通俗的语言写成《荣辱人生——严嵩话本》一书出版。在写作过程中，我本着“立足实事求是，着意诠释人生”的原则，立足史料，又不为大量“似是而非”的史料所迷惑，希望以自己的考察和研究，再现严嵩等历史人物的真实人生。     

奇趣为宗，反常合道——论宋代集句体词

宋代集句体词是宋人创造的一种全新的词体,特征显著:词调体式上多用短调,句式多五、七言形式,集句手段比较灵活,题材则以诗句为主体,包括了经、史、散文、词中句段。对集句体词的形成,除了宋人经典意识以及集句诗流行的影响之外,还与魏晋六朝尤其是唐末以来的摘句批评这一文学批评方式,以及书籍印刷技术的发展有关。从宋词雅化及诗词校勘等方面看,宋代集句体词对词学研究有重要意义。
