A review of the species of Neococcidencyrtus (Hymenoptera: Encyrtidae), parasites of diaspidid scale insects

A key is provided to the 18 known species of Neococcidencyrtus. Platylyca is synonymized with Neococcidencyrtus and its type-species, quadraticeps, is transferred to Neococcidencyrtus. The following species are described as new: brenhindis, cleddis, cliradainis, colynis, cullainis, delis, dryslydis, hynodis, melynis, selogis, synodis, and two further undescribed species are keyed but not formally described. All available published information on the biology and distribution of each species is listed and the pest status of the hosts is included.     

A review of the encyrtid wasp tribe Aenasiini,with descriptions of new Afrotropical taxa (Hymenoptera: Chalcidoidea)

The tetracnemine tribe Aenasiini is discussed and a key is provided for the separation of the nine genera that can be attributed to this tribe. Neodiscodes is synonymized with Aenasius and the following seven species, which were originally assigned to the former genus, are transferred to Aenasius as new combinations: abengouroui (Risbec), comperei (Kerrich), lepelleyi (Kerrich), martinii (Compere), indicus (Narayanan & Subba Rao), parvus (Kerrich) and subbaraoi (Kerrich). A key is given for the separation of the four Afrotropical species of Aenasius and the male of A. comperei is described for the first time. Incisencyrtus gen. n. is described for the following three new Afrotropical species: secus (the type-species), sirus and afer. Cladiscodes incisius sp. n. is described from South Africa and it represents the first species of this genus from Africa. New distribution records are given for three Alfrotropical species of Metaphaenodiscus.

记述了采自内蒙古锡林浩特的中国跳小蜂科1新纪录种——蚤状杜丝跳小蜂Dusmetia pulex(Ruschka, 1923).提供了新纪录种成虫的形态特征图及该属中国已知种检索表.

我国瓢虫跳小蜂属Homalotylus Mayr已知2种,本文报道4新种:长尾瓢虫跳小蜂H. longicaudus sp.n.(湖南沅陵)、中华瓢虫跳小蜂H.sinensis sp.n.(山西太谷、河南安阳、浙江杭州)、三白瓢虫跳小蜂H.trisubalbus sp.n.(广东四会)和赵氏瓢虫跳小蜂H.zhaoi sp.n.(福建福州)。对新种进行了详细描述,并附特征图和中国已知种类的检索表。模式标本存浙江农业大学植物保护系。     

Mandibular teeth in Chalcidoidea: function and phylogeny

Aphelinidae and Encyrtidae (Hymenoptera: Chalcidoidea) were surveyed for presence of a specialized ventroapical mandibular tooth that is formed through modification of a seta into a stout socketed spine. An almost identical tooth is found in a homologous position in Coccophaginae (Aphelinidae), Eriaphytinae (Aphelinidae), Calesinae (Aphelinidae or incertae sedis), and Habrolepidini (Encyrtidae), but nowhere else within Chalcidoidea. Although the tooth represents a synapomorphy for genera within each of these higher taxa, it appears to be independently derived on the basis of other morphological and biochemical evidence. Observations of Comperiella bifasciata and Encarsia sp. nr. perniciosi emerging from California Red Scale show that the tooth is used for shearing off pieces of the mummified host remains and the scale cover during formation of the exit hole. The tooth occurs in both sexes, and in taxa with a broad host range such as Encarsia, which attack both armoured scales and whiteflies. Problems associated with character homology, function and phylogeny are discussed.

本文报道我国草蛉跳小蜂属Isodromus Howard 2新种:长柄草蛉跳小蜂I. longiscapus sp.n. (贵州独山)和赵氏草蛉跳小蜂I. zhaoi sp. n. (浙江萧山),对新种进行了详细描述,并附特征图和中国已知种类的检索表。模式标本存浙江农业大学植物保护系。     

伊朗跳小蜂科研究（膜翅目：小蜂总科）

跳小蜂（膜翅目,跳小蜂科）是生态系统中农作物害虫的重要寄生蜂。本文记录了采自伊朗不同地区的跳小蜂科14新记录种,分别隶属12属： ：Aphycoides Mercet, Blastothrix Mayr, Bothriothorax Ratzeburg, Ericydnus Walker, Mayridia Mercet, Metaphycus Mercet, Microterys Thomson, Rhopus Foerster, Syrphophagus Ashmead, Tetr- acnemus Westwood, Trechnites Thomson, Trichomasthus Thomson。     

蝇克跳小蜂属1中国新记录种(膜翅目:跳小蜂科)

【目的】进一步丰富我国及天津市的生物多样性,为跳小蜂科物种的系统发育研究奠定基础。【方法】在天津市天津农学院东校区内开展了跳小蜂的采集工作。利用马来氏网采集昆虫标本,并将其保存于含有无水乙醇的收集瓶中。将采集的昆虫标本带回实验室后,在体视显微镜下根据其形态学特征分拣出跳小蜂科昆虫标本,对目标昆虫进行解剖,并置于5%(体积分数)NaOH溶液中透明后,利用阿拉伯树胶封片法分别将解剖下来的头、胸腹、触角、前翅、后翅、前足、中足、后足等部位压制成玻片标本。用带刻度的目镜在体视显微镜下对各特征部位进行测量,并对各特征部位拍照。最后,依据小蜂的形态特征进行分类鉴定。【结果】对标本进行鉴定认为是蝇克跳小蜂属1中国新记录种。该种雌蜂体长1.10~1.42 mm,大体黑褐色;翅透明;前足腿节基部和端部、中足腿节黄褐色,中足基节褐色,所有胫节和跗节黄褐色;头部长为宽的83%,额顶宽为头宽的0.37倍,具清晰的载毛刻窝;触角柄节中部膨大,长为最宽处的4倍,各索节均宽大于长,棒节3节,长于各索节长度之和,端部有明显的斜切;上颚3齿,后齿较圆钝;胸部密被刚毛,中胸盾片具鳞形刻纹,小盾片具多边形网纹;前翅长约为宽的2倍,无毛斜带开放;中足胫节距为中足胫节长的1/3,略短于中足基跗节;腹部心形,产卵器略伸出。此外,提供了该种雌性成虫的形态特征图及该属中国已知种雌性检索表。【结论】经鉴定证实,检视标本为中国新记录种——敌扑蝇克跳小蜂(Exoristobia dipterae)。

报道跳小蜂科跳小峰属一新种，三色颚跳小蜂，Ｅｎｃｙｒｔｕｓ ｍａｎｄｉｔｒｉｃｏｌｏｒ ｓｐ．ｎｏｖ。标本采自云南２省，从番石榴Ｐｓｉｄｉｕｍ ｙｕａｙａｖａ年一种网蜡蚧Ｅｕｃａｌｙｍｎａｔｕｓ ｓｐ．育得。     

岐脉跳小蜂属一新种(膜翅目:跳小蜂科)

记述跳小蜂科岐脉跳小蜂属一新种,即念岐脉跳小蜂Diversinervus commemorans Tan,sp.nov.该新种与优雅岐脉跳小蜂Diversinervus elegans Silvestri相似,但(1)中胸盾片后部略1/4灰色,后缘具青绿色光泽,无强的蓝绿色横带;(2)缘脉和后缘脉的前缘共具6根粗长刚毛;(3)后缘脉短于缘脉;(4)腹部短于胸部.标本采自云南省蒙自县.
