强直电流伸展弧CVD硬质合金金刚石涂层工具

采用自行研制的强电流直流扩展电弧设备对酸浸和渗硼预处理的YG6刀片进行了金刚石薄膜涂层沉积，并对放于不同位置的沉积刀片表面涂层的激光Raman谱和SEM形貌进行了分析、研究。结果表明：渗硼预处理工艺优于酸浸预处理工艺；在渗硼处理的GY6刀片上，沉积的金刚石薄膜涂层具有大面积、均匀性好和质量高的特点。     

Comparison of the effects of different isomers of bicuculline infused in the preoptic area on male rat sexual behavior

Summary Intracerebral infusion of (+) bicuculline methiodide, but not of its (–) isomer, in the preoptic area, stimulated masculine sexual behavior in rat as evidenced by a decrease in the number of intromissions preceding ejaculation and a shortening of the ejaculation latency and postejaculatory interval. Data suggest a role of the GABAergic system in mediating masculine sexual behavior.Acknowledgments. 高频等离子体化学气相淀积法制备TiO2超细粒子

利用ＴｉＣｌ４＋Ｏ２体系，在高频等离子体化学气相淀积反应器中合成了纯度高、粒度细的ＴｉＯ２粒子。考察了工艺条件对ＴｉＯ２粒子物性的影响；探讨了ＴｉＯ２粒子晶型控制的方法，金红石型质量分数可通过工艺条件控制；探讨了ＴｉＯ２粒子晶型控制的方法。金红石型质量分数可通过工艺条件控制，减少ＴｉＯ２单体浓度可提高金红石型质量分数；也可通过在原料ＴｉＣｌ４中添加ＡｌＣｌ３等晶型转化剂，使可转化为单一金红石型Ｔｉ     

Aspirin-like drugs may block pain independently of prostaglandin synthesis inhibition

Summary Using flurbiprofen, a chiral anti-inflammatory and analgesic 2-arylpropionic acid derivative, the enantiomers of which are not converted to each other (less than 5%) in rats or man, we obtained evidence that prostaglandin synthesis inhibition is primarily mediating the anti-inflammatory activity but prostaglandin synthesis independent mechanisms contribute to the analgesic effects. Thus, the S-form inhibited prostaglandin synthesis, inflammation and nociception in rats. The R-form had much less effect on prostaglandin synthesis and did not affect inflammation. It did, however, block nociception in rats almost as potently as the S-form. S-flurbiprofen, in contrast to the R-form, was clearly ulcerogenic in the gastrointestinal mucosa. These results indicate additional molecular mechanisms of analgesia and suggest the use of R-arylpropionic acids as analgesics.

Engineering ceramics are typical difficult-to-machine materials because of high hardness and brittleness. Using genetically-defined rodent strains for the identification of hippocampal traits relevant for two-way avoidance behavior: a non-invasive approach

Summary Genetically-defined rodent strains permit the identification of hippocampal traits which are of functional relevance for the performance of two-way avoidance behavior. This is exemplified here by analyzing the relationship between infrapyramidal mossy fibers (a tiny projection terminating upon the basal dendrites of hippocampal pyramidal neurons) and two-way avoidance learning in about 800 animals. The necessary steps include 1) identification of structural traits sensitive to selective breeding for extremes in two-way avoidance, 2) testing the robustness of the associations found by studying individual and genetical correlations between hippocampal traits and behavior, 3) establishing causal relationships by Mendelian crossing of strains with extreme structural traits and studying the behavioral consequences of such structural randomization, 4) confirming causal relationships by manipulating the structural variable in inbred (isogenic) strains, thereby eliminating the possibility of genetic linkage, and 5) ruling out the possibility of spurious associations by studying the correlations between the hippocampal trait and other behaviors known to depend on hippocampal functioning.In comparison with the classical lesion approach for identifying relationships between brain and behavior, the present procedure appears to be superior in two aspects: it is non-invasive, and it focuses automatically on those brain traits which are used by natural selection to shape behaviorally-defined animal populations, i.e., it reveals the natural regulators of behavior.     

In vitro amiodarone protein binding and its interaction with warfarin

Summary The binding of amiodarone to human plasma protein and to bovine serum, albumin was studied by three different methods, ultracentrifugation, equilibrium dialysis and fluorescence spectroscopy. The fraction of amiodarone bound to plasma protein amounted to 96.3%. The changes in the binding properties of 1-anilino-naphthalene-8-sulfonate for bovine serum albumin using warfarin and amiodarone as independent inhibitors were analyzed in terms of binding site specificity. The findings indicated that amiodarone and warfarin have two different binding sites on bovine serum albumin, so a noncompetitive inhibition mechanism was indicated. On the basis of our data we cannot exclude other mechanisms of interaction besides direct displacement of one drug by another; nevertheless, metabolite interference between amiodarone and coagulation cofactors may better explain the enhancement of warfarin's pharmacological action in association with amiodarone.This work was partially funded by the CNR (National Research Council, Rome, Italy), Program on Clinical Pharmacology and Rare Diseases.
