Variation in ovariole number within the Aphidoidea

Several different morphs from over 50 species of aphids were dissected and the number of ovarioles recorded for each. By using these results and published data, details of ovariole number in more than 125 species of aphid from seven families were analysed.

Variation in ovariole number between generations was found in six of the seven families studied. Variation within a generation appeared to be restricted to certain subfamilies.

Certain trends in variability of ovariole number appear to be linked with the morph of the aphid, migratory morphs (particularly within the Aphididae) having greater variability than non-migratory morphs. Heteroecious aphids tend to show greater variability than autoecious aphids which, in turn, show greater variability than anholocyclic aphids.     

Host selection by a kleptoparasitic spider

Argyrodes globosus (Keyserling, 1884) is a small kleptoparasite spider that steals prey from the web of web-building spiders. In coffee plantations in the south of Mexico it was observed to parasitize five species: Gasteracantha cancriformis (Linnaeus, 1785) and Verrucosa arenata (Walckenaer, 1841) (Araneidae), Leucauge mariana (Keyserling, 1881) and Leucauge venusta (Walckenaer, 1841) (morphologically indistinguishable species) and Leucauge argyra (White, 1841) (Tetragnathidae). G. cancriformis was more frequently parasitized than the other hosts. An analysis of web diameter for each host species indicated that for L. mariana/venusta, L. argyra and V. arenata the kleptoparasite was associated with webs of a certain size range (23-33cm diameter) although a far larger range of web sizes was available (17-50cm diameter). The average size of the web of G. cancriformis (~23cm) appeared to be close to the preferred size for the kleptoparasite and this, together with an apparent absence of host aggression, may explain the prevalence of A. globosus with this host. For the parasite, web size choice may involve a tradeoff among diverse factors including prey capture rate, ease of access to the web and aggressive behaviour by the host.

柳蓝叶甲对几种植物气味的触角电位反应

测定了柳蓝叶甲(Plagiodera versicolora)对寄主植物杨树(Populus sp.)、柳树(Salix sp.)和非寄主植物苦楝树(Melia azedarach)叶片气味的触角电位反应。结果表明：柳蓝叶甲对杨树叶片气味的触角电位反应随日龄的增加而增强;对寄主植物杨树、柳树和非寄主植物苦楝树的叶片气味均有较强的触角电位反应;对非寄主植物苦楝树叶气味的触角电位反应显著大于对寄主植物柳树叶片的反应。利用嗅觉仪的测定结果表明,柳蓝叶甲对非寄主植物苦楝树叶片气味的EAG反应与其选择行为反应之间表现出负相关关系。     

实时高可靠指令/响应型微机网络研究

介绍一种应用于实时控制系统的高可靠性微型计算机网——MIL-STD-1553B指令/响应型数据总线,讨论了系统的特点、性能和设计原理,包括数据总线的结构、通讯协议、数据总线关键部件——总线接口的软、硬件设计以及光、电两种传输介质。应用表明,该系统性能良好,适用于实时性及可靠性要求较高的场合。

研究了基质组成、化学键结构对荧光材料（Ｙ，Ｚｎ，Ｓｒ）３（Ｐ，ＶＯ４）２：Ｅｕ３＋，Ｂｉ３＋的发光性质和基质敏化的影响。实验表明在基质中引入Ｙ—Ｏ—Ｖ直线链，对基质的吸收和发射跃迁、能量传递有着良好的敏化作用。从理论上探讨了能量传递机理。     

小麦植原体兰矮病寄主范围初步鉴定

为了提供防治依据,对小麦植原体兰矮病的寄主范围进行了鉴定,结果发现新寄生禾谷类作物玉米、甜玉米、裸麦、莜麦、禾本科杂草簇毛麦、节节麦、野燕麦、金色狗尾草、稗、无芒稗、牛盘草和狼尾草共１２种,对生产防治具有重人作用。

Caligids (Copepoda: Caligidae) found on the bream (Acanthopagrus spp.) of Australia

Eleven species of parasitic caligid copepods were recorded from approximately 1000 specimens of four congeneric species of Australian bream. New species were described and previously recorded species redescribed where necessary. Those caligids recovered in large numbers were liberal in choice of host species and displayed a wide geographical range within Australia.     

具有USB主机功能的汽车参数采集系统的设计

为实现对汽车运行参数的测量和大量数据的存储，通过对通用串行总线通信协议的剖析，提出采用嵌入式USB主机作为核心，以移动硬盘为存储设备的运行参数采集系统．给出了设计此参数采集系统的原理、硬件电路结构，并编制了专用数据通信驱动程序和应用程序，实现了USB主机控制器部分数据的有效通讯和对汽车运行参数的高速数据采集、存储、显示和查询。
