Synthesis of N-protected oxytoceines

Zusammenfassung Es wird die Synthese von N-substituierten Oxytoceinen beschrieben. In einem Fall wurde die Synthese durch Benutzung des S-Benzoyl- und S-Carbobenzoxy-l-cysteins ermöglicht.     

Catalytic properties of synthetic pentapeptides

Zusammenfassung Es wurde das Pentapeptidl-Thr-l-Ala-l-Abu-l-His-l-Asp synthetisiert, seine katalytische-hydrolytische Wirkung auf Essigsäure-p-nitrophenylester geprÜft und die katalytische Aktivität ca. 1/3 derjenigen seines isosterenl-Thr-l-Ala-l-Cys-l-His-l-Asp festgestellt.

Eine neue Umlagerungsreaktion und ein neues Prinzip zum Aufbau von Peptidketten

Summary In a series of model reactions, it is shown that residues of-aminoacids may be inserted by a particular rearrangement into certain carboxyl or carbonylamido groups. Repeated insertion results in the formation of a peptide derivative. It is concluded that natural peptides or proteins must not necessarily be formed by head to tail combination of aminoacids. Other implications of the new principle are discussed.
