Summary A method for the synthesis of N-aryl-N-glycolyl hydroxamic acids is described. The term nuclear transport, refers to the movement of a large variety of macromolecules both into and out of the nucleus. Transport must be extremely selective, yet also very efficient. A single type of channel, the nuclear pore complex, mediates all movement across the nuclear envelope. Selectivity is achieved through the use of families of soluble factors that target substrates for import and export and deliver them to their appropriate intracellular destinations. We now have a fairly detailed understanding of the basic mechanisms of protein import into the nucleus. Many of these same principles can be applied to protein export and perhaps RNA export. This review will summarize the current status of what is known about various transport pathways and highlight the questions that remain to be answered.  相似文献

Based on the study on the city transport systems of some typical cities worldwide, this paper put forward that each city transport system has its own development mode, which is influenced by the city development plan, economic development level, traveling vehicle composition etc.. When some problems occur, such as the congestions caused by contradiction between the road capacity and vehicle composition, the city transport system may come into temporary maturity period. If the improvement for road system is limited meanwhile, optimized structure of vehicle composition should be an effective solution in this case. With the development of economy-internationalization, the development speed of city transport modernization is rapid. When traveling easiness is conflicting with efficiency, the advantages of public transport system become more obvious. Correspondingly, the superiority of two-wheel vehicles will reappear. Summary A novel lipoxygenase was partially purified from the gorgonian coralPseudoplexaura porosa and was found to be specific for arachidonic acid. This soluble enzyme catalyzed the formation of 15-hydroperoxy-eicosatetraenoic acid (15-HPETE) from arachidonic acid.This investigation was supported by PHS grant No. CA32395 awarded by the National Cancer Institute and by PHS Research Carreer Development Award No. ES00120 to MDC awarded by the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, DHHS. This paper introduces a non-assembly manufacturing case with microstereolithography technology. The design and manufacturing process of a pneumatic thrust bearing is described, and a special tessellation method is developed to further improve the capability of the manufacturing system thus bigger products can also be easily manufactured. Implemented in a layer-by-layer fashion, stereolithography has been used for the rapid manufacturing of complex devices, and it avoids the expensive assembly process in the traditional manufacturing. This paper presents that microstereolithography can produce high-resolution products with intricate details, small openings, and smooth surfaces. The potential of the microstereolithograhy technique is explored for the rapid manufacturing of small and complex objects.  相似文献

Frequent mutation of histone-modifying genes in non-Hodgkin lymphoma   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
Follicular lymphoma (FL) and diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) are the two most common non-Hodgkin lymphomas (NHLs). Here we sequenced tumour and matched normal DNA from 13 DLBCL cases and one FL case to identify genes with mutations in B-cell NHL. We analysed RNA-seq data from these and another 113 NHLs to identify genes with candidate mutations, and then re-sequenced tumour and matched normal DNA from these cases to confirm 109 genes with multiple somatic mutations. Genes with roles in histone modification were frequent targets of somatic mutation. For example, 32% of DLBCL and 89% of FL cases had somatic mutations in MLL2, which encodes a histone methyltransferase, and 11.4% and 13.4% of DLBCL and FL cases, respectively, had mutations in MEF2B, a calcium-regulated gene that cooperates with CREBBP and EP300 in acetylating histones. Our analysis suggests a previously unappreciated disruption of chromatin biology in lymphomagenesis.  相似文献

Summary The reaction of glyoxylic acid withp-nitronitrosobenzene (1b) in dilute aqueous solution gave the hydroxamic acid (2b) as the major detectable product.
