The purpose of the research is to discuss the differentperformances of administrators' values in different orga-nizations in Taiwan province and the determinants ofethics of administrators in decision - making. Throughthe understanding of these issues, the research expects tohelp the internal operation of ethical behaviors in the or-ganization in order to establish business ethics. The re-search used empirical examination and stratified sam-pling to select 231 top, middle and low administrators inmanufacture, service, government and non - profit -making organizations as target. The result showed thatthe main determinant of ethics of administrators in deci-sion - making was "corporate interest". Besides, the ad-ministrators in the four organizations showed distinctivevalues. The non - profit - making organizations showedhigher sense of values such as"caring self - discipline"and "safety belonging"than profit - making groups did.  相似文献

The study applied the approach of empirical studies to select 176 teachers in 9 universities in Taiwan and Inland in China to deliver questionnaires. The study intended to explore the influence of organizational climate on campus ethics and its diversity between the universities across the Taiwan strait. The study explored that the organizational climate in the universities across the Strait was not ethically high. Yet, the universities in Inland emphasized more on campus restraint in teachers‘ behavior, job performance and their sense of belonging to the school. The study result demonstrated that improving leadership of the universities could enhance teachers‘ identification with their schools and could promote the level of campus across the Strait.  相似文献

This paper investigates the types of the organizationalethical climate for both Taiwan and Shanghai,and thedifference between their enhancement methods in orderto provide both parties with a reference for effectivelyforming an ethical climate,and thus help establish busi-ness ethics.This survey was based on an empiricalstudy,utilizing questionnaires which were a combinationof past literatures with ready-made questionnaires con-ducted on eight hundred and seventeen valid samplesfrom both parties.The results showed that"law andcode"and"caring"are main ethical climate types forboth parties,which also indicates the norms of"caring"and"law and code"on enhancement methods of an ethi-cal climate.Both parties emphasize"changing organiza-tional culture"to enhance ethical climate,yet Shanghaiexclusively places stresses on"executives'supervisingsubordinates'behaviors",revealing its organizations'strong tendency to avoiding transgression.It was alsofound that diverse organizations represent different ethi-cal climat  相似文献
