Summary Cancer cells treated in anaerobic tissue-culture with tumour-decocts keep their vitality and their ability of building mitosis longer than untreated ones. From this it follows that electrontransferring cofactors found in tumour-decocts excite an anoxygenic energy-effect also on cancer tissues. 相似文献

Summary In cell juice of aerobic fermenting and of only respiring yeast cells, a thermostable respiratory energy reserve is found which under rigorous anoxybiotic conditions effects a generative reactivation in contact with anabiotic fermenting yeast cells, butnot with only respiring ones. Also in cell juice of Jensen sarcoma and other carcinoma tissues, an adequate energy substance is recognized as being able to replace oxygen biologically.

Summary (1) The relation between photodynamic effect and intensity of ultra-violet radiation was investigated by means of the lethal-curve of yeast cells treated with benzpyrene as photosensibilizer.(2) If the dosis of radiation ist kept constant, the resulting photodynamic effect decreases rapidly with diminishing intensity.

Summary It was established by histochemical method that the regeneration of phosphorus-starved yeast, in comparison with normal yeast, is accompanied by a phosphatic over-compensation. This also provides a striking criterion for the evaluation of the cellular phosphate metabolism.Inspite of the considerably higher total-P-contents, if regenerated phosphorus-starved yeast, it contains almost the same quantity of nucleic acids as normal yeast. 相似文献
