The species of Symplocodes Hebard (Blattodea: Ectobiidae: Blattellinae) with description of a new species from China

This paper provides a generic diagnosis, a species list and taxonomy for the genus Symplocodes Hebard, 1929. The new species Symplocodes euryloba sp. nov. from China is described and illustrated. Symplocodes tsaii Bey-Bienko, 1958 is regarded as a subspecies of Symplocodes marmorata (Brunner von Wattenwyl, 1893), i.e. S. marmorata tsaii comb. nov., and its differences from S. marmorata marmorata (Brunner von Wattenwyl, 1893) are discussed. Two known species, Symplocodes ridleyi (Shelford, 1912) and Symplocodes manubria Feng et Guo, 1990, are redescribed and illustrated, whereas one new specific synonym, i.e. Symplocodes brachialis, is proposed. A key to species worldwide is provided. The tarsal claws of these four species as well as one species of Chorisoserrata Roth, 1998 are examined and photographed to compare the intergeneric differentiation of claw specialization and to discuss its function.     

A new subgenus of the genus Colastes Haliday (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Exothecinae) for species reared from bracket fungi,with description of two new species from Europe

A new Holarctic subgenus (Fungivenator subgen. nov.) of the genus Colastes Haliday, 1833 (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Exothecinae) is proposed for a group of species that, as far as is known, has its larvae living on hosts in bracket fungi. The type species (Colastes sandei sp. nov. from Netherlands, Germany and England) and a second species (C. fritzeni sp. nov.) from Finland are described and illustrated. A key to the five known species is included.     

Oribatid mite (Acari) community structure in steppic habitats of Burgos Province,central northern Spain

This work is a study of the communities of oribatid mites in steppic areas of Burgos Province, central northern Spain, in relation to different habitat types belonging to natural or disturbed ecosystems. The primary objective was to find the relationship between anthropogenic use of land and several diversity indices. Parameters such as abundance, species richness, real diversity (H′) and equitability (J′) of the mite communities were calculated in 20 soil plots, sampled in spring and autumn 2000, belonging to the predominant habitat types of this area: (1) cultivated lands, (2) abandoned crop lands, (3) grasslands/pastures, and (4) natural oak forests or a pine plantation. The most widespread species in the area as well as the most abundant taxa overall are documented, together with the faunistic checklist of oribatid mites identified in the study. The results show a general decline in the composition of the oribatid community, in terms of species diversity and abundance, from non‐disturbed soils to cultivated lands. The number of species (richness) was usually higher in forest soils than in disturbed ecosystems, in which the most degraded soils showed the lowest number of species. The community analysis shows the differences due to habitat type and ubiquitous bioindicator species.     

沱江流域人工针叶林演替系列的物种多样性

采用空间代替时间的方法研究了沱江流域人工墨西哥柏林演替系列上的物种多样性.结果表明,随着时间的推移,乔木层的物种多样性逐渐增加,灌木层和草本层的物种多样性逐渐降低,群落总体物种多样性也逐渐降低.20龄林各层次的物种多样性和当地的针阔叶混交林已很接近,这说明人工墨西哥柏林通过针阔叶混交林演替成地带性的常绿阔叶林的趋势很明显,墨西哥柏作为当地速生的造林绿化树种是适合的.     

福建省梅花山自然保护区蝗虫的调查

报道从福建省梅花山自然保护区采集到的蝗虫３４种，隶属５科１４亚科２５属，有１亚科３属５种为福建省新纪录，并有二新种，模式标本保存于陕西师范大学动物研究所。     

中国麦蛾三新种记述（鳞翅目：麦蛾科）

记述麦蛾科３新种，园特麦蛾Ｔｅｌｅｉｏｄｅｓ ｈｏｒｔｅｎｓｉｓ ｓｐ．ｎｏｖ．。和西宁平麦蛾Ｐａｒａｃｈｒｏｎｉｓｔｉｓ ｘｉｎｉｎｇｅｎｓｉｓ ｓｐ．ｎｏｖ．分布于青海，双突盖麦蛾Ｓｔｅｇａｓｔａ ｄｉｃｏｎｄｙｌｉｃａ ｓｐ．ｎｏｖ．采自云南，其中平麦蛾属Ｐａｒａｃｈｒｏｎｉｓｔｉｓ Ｍｅｙｒｉｃｋ是中国新纪录属。     

缙云山森林生态系统物种多样性空间格局分析

通过对缙云山森林生态系统各发展阶段永久性样地的调查研究，初步揭示森林生态系统发展过程物种多样性空间格局变化规律，发现乔木层物种丰富度和总多样性基本随系统局长的方向逐渐增大，但其过程存在着波动变化，物种均匀变化与系统发展方向关系不大，灌木层和草本层物种多样性变化与群落郁闭度相关。

编制了紫菀木属Ａｓｔｅｒｏｔｈａｍｎｕｓ植物的分种检索表，阐明了该属植物区系地理分布的基本规律与特征．

广西药用植物补遗

在民族药资源调查,分类鉴定和现有文献的基础上,增补了广西有产或有养殖而《广西药用植物园名录》。（１９７４年）,《广西民族药简编》（１９８０年）,《广西药用植物名录》（１９８６年）和《广西中药资源名录》（１９９３年）未见收载的药用植物４７种（包括变种）,其中４种为广西分布新记录,１种为中国特有。
