Investigating the Microstructure of Slenderized Wool Fibers at Different Stretching Ratios by Raman Spectroscopy

The molecular conformation and the microstructure of the slenderized wool fibers have been studied by the Raman spectroscopy. The typical bands analyzed in this paper include the amideⅠand amide Ⅲ regions, the C-C skeletal vibration region, and the S-S and C-S bond vibration regions. The experimental results show that ⅰ) the Raman spectroscopy can reveal the secondary structural transformation from α-helical to β-pleated sheet begin at the early stage of stretching; ⅱ) the stretching mechanism of wool fibers can be divided into two different mechanisms, I.e. The secondary structural transformation and the slippage of the polypeptide chain; and ⅲ) the stretching leads to the increasing of the amount of the disordered conformation and the decreasing of the amount of S-S bonds.

Study on Misplating Problems of Composed of Wool and Lycra Plated Knitted Fabrics

By a great deal of experiments,the misplating problemsof plated knitted fabrics composed of wool and Lycra arediscussed and analyzed.The factors affecting the mis-plating problems on manually operated flat knitting ma-chine include the construction and adjustment of a plat-ing feeder,wool yarn count,feeding tension,takedowntension and the ground fabric structures.Some usefulresults can be derived from these works.

绵羊毛与山羊绒的鉴别

利用扫描电镜法测试分析66s的绵羊毛与一级除毛山羊绒，得到了以直径、表面鳞片高以及表面鳞片厚为指标的绵羊毛与山羊绒各自的频率分布，并计算出以这3个指标为判定依据的独立误判概率．在验证了3个指标为线性无关后，将3个独立误判概率相乘，从而大幅度降低了绵羊毛与山羊绒之间的误判概率．实验结果也证实了这一结论．     

应用灰色关联度分析法对不同地区粳稻种质资源农艺性状分析评价

为了解不同地区粳稻资源的性状差异,并为新品种选育提供亲本材料,将来自中国云南、四川凉山州和日本的部分粳稻种质资源进行同田比较。通过对多个性状数据的测定比较,应用灰色关联度分析法分析,综合评价各品种资源性状。研究结果表明:不同地区间的品种资源性状各有差异,各品种性状优缺点共存,产量性状好的关联度排名较后,而关联度排名靠前的产量又较低,其中Y5和B130可以通过栽培技术的改进来提高产量,也可作为育种的亲本材料。     

Study on the Synthesis of Monoolein and Its Practical Application in Wool Spinning

Oleic acid was used as a raw material to synthesize mo-noolein by means of esterifying and ester exchanging. Through synthetically judging every possible influential factor, a new method was found to synthesize moloolein under moderate condition. Then, monoolein was applied as a main component to mix with Polyoxyethylene alkyl-phenol ether Sodium Phosphate and Polyoxyethylene al-kylphcnol ether - 10 for preparing a new kind of wool lubricant. The testing its performances in wool spinning were conducted.

Shrinkage Properties of Wool and Acrylic/Wool Plain Knitted Fabrics Treated with DC109

This paper examines the effects of shrink - resist treatment, washing cycle and fabric tightness on the shrinkage properties of plain knitted fabrics made from 100% wool, acrylic/wool (50/50) and acrylic/wool (70/30). It was found that shrinkages of both treated and untreated wool fabrics were negatively correlated to fabric tightness and exceeded the IWS shrinkage limits (5% in length and 8 % in area) after 2 - 5A washing cycle. The effect of tightness was not as obvious with acrylic/wool (A/W) fabrics, but the shrinkage was seen to increase with stages of washing cycle for untreated A/W fabrics with some exceeding IWS standard. By applying the DC 109 shrink - resist solvent treatment, it was identified that by with higher percentage of acrylic fibre blended with wool, shrinkage could be reduced considerably and within acceptable limits.
