Local reduction in physics

A conventional wisdom about the progress of physics holds that successive theories wholly encompass the domains of their predecessors through a process that is often called “reduction.” While certain influential accounts of inter-theory reduction in physics take reduction to require a single “global” derivation of one theory׳s laws from those of another, I show that global reductions are not available in all cases where the conventional wisdom requires reduction to hold. However, I argue that a weaker “local” form of reduction, which defines reduction between theories in terms of a more fundamental notion of reduction between models of a single fixed system, is available in such cases and moreover suffices to uphold the conventional wisdom. To illustrate the sort of fixed-system, inter-model reduction that grounds inter-theoretic reduction on this picture, I specialize to a particular class of cases in which both models are dynamical systems. I show that reduction in these cases is underwritten by a mathematical relationship that follows a certain liberalized construal of Nagel/Schaffner reduction, and support this claim with several examples. Moreover, I show that this broadly Nagelian analysis of inter-model reduction encompasses several cases that are sometimes cited as instances of the “physicist׳s” limit-based notion of reduction.     

基于线圆结构和LINGO的机器人避障路径选择

静态环境下机器人行走全局规划路径是机器人行走路径的核心问题。针对机器人在平面区域内绕过不同障碍到达目标点的最短路径和最短时间路径进行研究,通过线圆结构和非线性规划基本模型,建立绕单和多（五）个障碍点非线性规划模型,使用lingo软件和穷举法,得到了机器人避障最短路径、最短时间路径、各切点坐标和所需时间。     

Forward Rates,Monetary Policy and the Economic Cycle

The short end of the yield curve incorporates essential information to forecast central banks' decisions, but in a biased manner. This article proposes a new method to forecast the Fed and the European Central Bank's decision rate by correcting the swap rates for their cyclical economic premium, using an affine term structure model. The corrected yields offer a higher out‐of‐sample forecasting power than the yields themselves. They also deliver forecasts that are either comparable or better than those obtained with a factor‐augmented vector autoregressive model, underlining the fact that yields are likely to contain at least as much information regarding monetary policy as a dataset composed of economic data series. Varieties of noise: Analogical reasoning in synthetic biology

The picture of synthetic biology as a kind of engineering science has largely created the public understanding of this novel field, covering both its promises and risks. In this paper, we will argue that the actual situation is more nuanced and complex. Synthetic biology is a highly interdisciplinary field of research located at the interface of physics, chemistry, biology, and computational science. All of these fields provide concepts, metaphors, mathematical tools, and models, which are typically utilized by synthetic biologists by drawing analogies between the different fields of inquiry. We will study analogical reasoning in synthetic biology through the emergence of the functional meaning of noise, which marks an important shift in how engineering concepts are employed in this field. The notion of noise serves also to highlight the differences between the two branches of synthetic biology: the basic science-oriented branch and the engineering-oriented branch, which differ from each other in the way they draw analogies to various other fields of study. Moreover, we show that fixing the mapping between a source domain and the target domain seems not to be the goal of analogical reasoning in actual scientific practice.     

企业员工E-Learning接受意向影响因素研究

企业员工对E-Learning的接受意向影响着E-Learning培训的有效性。本文在技术接受模型(TAM)的基础上结合E-Learning的特点,建立了企业员工E-Learning接受意向影响因素理论模型并提出相应假设。通过对采用E-Learning培训方式的企业员工进行问卷调查获取数据后,利用结构方程模型对研究假设进行检验并对理论模型予以修正。结果表明,技术特性、个体特性和组织支持都能通过个体感知因素间接影响行为意向,感知易用性对行为意向既能产生值接作用,又能通过感知有用性产生间接影响,是行为意向最重要的影响因素。最终根据研究结论对企业有效引入和实施E-Learning提出了建议。     

敦煌莫高窟蒸散量的估算与非线性分析

通过应用野外称重法测定的折算系数对莫高窟林地的蒸散量进行估算与分析。结果表明,莫高窟林地的年蒸散量为6091mm,符合耗散结构的非线性原理,是较高水平蒸散耗散结构存在的表现。莫高窟林地75%的水分是通过植物根系将深层土壤水分转运出地面后以蒸腾的形式耗散掉的。蒸散量作为各参与因子时空异质性的综合反映,随着土壤水分状况、气候环境、植被种类和植物体量的变化呈现广泛非线性表现。而非线性系统不满足线性叠加原理。因此,本文通过使用折算系数,避免了用蒸发量和蒸腾量的简单的相互叠加,充分考虑了土壤蒸发、植被蒸腾和气候环境之间的相互影响。研究发现,莫高窟林地蒸散量是极干旱气候条件下高水分耗散结构的典型代表。     

基于博弈论的开放环境下场景规约监控语义

在开放环境中,环境和系统本身行为的改变可能使得软件系统的实现不再满足原来规约,从而最终导致软件失效的发生.运行时监控是一种轻量级的形式化动态验证技术,已成为开放环境下检测软件失效的基本手段.针对基于场景的规约属性序列图,从博弈论的角度定义其多值监控语义:满足、无限可控、系统有限可控、系统紧急可控、环境有限可控、环境紧急可控和违例.通过多值监控语义的定义,监控器能够根据当前轨迹尽可能早地检测到系统失效或异常,并提供足够信息为失效的预防和恢复服务.实例研究表明了属性序列图多值监控语义的实用价值,并显示了其广泛的应用前景.     

凝聚度——描述与测度社会生态系统抗干扰能力的一种新特性

研究一个网络系统抵抗干扰的能力,系统科学里有＂鲁棒性＂的概念,社会—生态系统里用＂脆弱性＂、＂恢复性＂和＂适应性＂等概念.这些已有的概念是否已经全面地描述了系统抵抗干扰的能力呢？在综合灾害风险管理的实践中,整个社会凝心聚力,行动协调一致,往往发挥着至关重要的决定性作用.然而,现有学术研究中所用到的各种系统属性,都不能很好表述一个系统凝心聚力的能力或水平.鉴于此,本文提出一种全新的网络系统属性：网络凝聚度（consilience degree）,专门用以度量一个如社会—生态系统一样行为的网络系统凝心聚力,行动协调一致,以抵抗干扰的能力.网络凝聚度实际上是一种更具普遍意义的＂联结度＂.它可以象联结度一样,派生发展出一系列的系统新属性和网络新模型,从而形成一个研究复杂系统的新的理论体系.本文将重点阐述这个体系的雏型.理论分析和仿真研究都证明：本文所提出的网络凝聚度是现有各种系统属性所无法涵盖或替代的,是研究现实复杂系统所必需的新理论工具.     

视频流中的自适应阈值模板匹配车辆检测算法

在传统帧差法的基础上, 通过对帧差法得到的感兴趣区域进行阈值处理, 得到用白色代表前景、 黑色代表背景的黑白二值图像, 并设计了自适应阈值模板匹配车辆检测算法从黑白二值图像中定位出运动车辆. 实验结果表明, 该算法简单, 容易实现, 能准确定位车辆.
