Phytophthora elicitor PB90 induced apoptosis in suspension cultures of tobacco

The protein elicitor PB90 secreted by Phytophthora boehmeriae is an efficient elicitor inducing the hypersensitive response and systemic acquired resistance in tobacco plants. Here, we observed cell death in suspension-cultured cells of Nicotiana tabacum BY-2 with PB90 treatment using Trypan blue staining method. And this cell death could be suppressed by cycloheximide, an inhibitor of proteins synthesis, which implies that PB90-induced celldeath was an active cell death process requiring new protein synthesis. DAPI staining revealed that PB90 induce rapid chromatin condensation, margination, apoptotic bodies‘ formation and DNA laddering, further TUNEL assay also observed the specific breakage of 3 ‘-OH ends. All of the above common morphological characteristics indicated that PB90 induced apoptosis in suspension cultures of tobacco, suggesting that hypersensitive response induced by PB90 is an apoptotic process.     

上游单90°弯头对内锥流量计性能的影响

为提高对内锥流量计安装与使用条件的认识,设计100mm口径的样机一台,开展了上游单个90。弯头影响的实验研究．实验介质为常温水,雷诺数范围为0．13×10^5～5．1×10^5．实验方案分基线实验和上游不同直管段长度的单弯头实验,节流比分别为0．45、0．55、0．65和0．85,累计进行了15组实验．利用平均流出系数相对误差及附加不确定度作为安装条件的主要评价标准,给出了上游单个90°弯头实验的直管段建议长度,并与国外研究结论进行了比较。得出节流比分别为0．45、0．55和0．65时,前直管段建议长度分别为2D、1D和3D;节流比为0．85时,前直管段长度为0D、1D、2D和5D时,弯头的影响均不能忽略．     

电力变压器智能监测仪的设计与研究

设计采用具有ISP功能的STC89C52RC单片机作为核心,利用了当前最流行的一些新器件构成最小系统。并且外扩模数转换芯片ADC0809,采用温度传感器AD590进行温度采集,通过电动机线圈下线时反串线圈的方式采集电动势的变化,从而测取电机气隙变化,并通过跳线的方式预留所有接口。整个板子的设计体现了结构简洁明了,功能新颖实用的优点。又有性价比高、简单易用的优点。整个设计系统包含了模拟量输入、开关量输入、人机交互、串口通信、供电模块电路、LCD液晶显示电路等模块。应用于电力变压器的智能检测是很好的选择。     

衡阳师范学院2010级学生心理健康状况调查研究

采用症状自评量表（SCL-90）对衡阳师范学院2010级新生4447人的心理健康状况进行了测查。结果表明：大学新生中等程度心理困扰的检出率为6.23%,主要心理问题是人际关系敏感、强迫症状、敌对、抑郁等;大学新生心理健康水平显著低于全国成人常模;不同性别、专业、学历层次的新生,其心理健康水平存在显著差异。     

篮球运动对普通高校大学生心理健康的影响研究

应用精神卫生自评量表(SCL-90)对佛山科学技术学院150名参加篮球选项班的大学生进行测评。结果表明:1)研究对象SCL-90得分明显低于全国常模。在人际关系敏感、抑郁、焦虑、敌对、恐怖等方面与全国常模因子分差异达显著水平。2)随篮球练习年限的增长练习者心理健康水平越高。     

A checklist of the valid avian species of Babesia (Apicomplexa: Piroplasmorida), Haemoproteus,Leucocytozoon (Apicomplexa: Haemosporida), and Hepatozoon (Apicomplexa: Haemogregarinidae)

A current checklist of valid avian species of Babesia, Haemoproteus, Hepatozoon, and Leucocytozoon is presented. Some taxonomic problems which have arisen since the last review are discussed as too are the remaining host family groups of parasites still requiring review.     

The genus Platypalpus Macquart (Diptera: Hybotidae) from Northeast Thailand with comments on the species groups in the Oriental region

The first records on the genus Platypalpus Macquart from Thailand are presented including 10 species new to science: P. fai sp. nov., P. gaemluang sp. nov., P. hualuang sp. nov., P. isaanensis sp. nov., P. nuadkhao sp. nov., P. phomyaaw sp. nov., P. seedam sp. nov., P. seeluang sp. nov., P. siamensis sp. nov., and P. thaicus sp. nov.. A key to these species is provided. All species of Platypalpus known from the Oriental Region (totally 54) are arranged into the species groups currently established for the genus. Eight species groups are recognized from the Oriental Realm and the distribution of each group is briefly discussed. The P. albiseta‐group is most diverse in the Orient with 16 species recorded. Two species of this group possess a modified structure and vestiture of certain abdominal segments that is the first record of this phenomenon in Platypalpus. Also, within the P. albiseta‐group a complex of closely related species sharing an apomorphous condition of the hypoproct has been recognized. In these species the structure of the hypoproct is likely to deal with clasping during copulation instead of the cerci and epandrial lamellae.     

Checklist of Hydrophiloidea of Turkey (Coleoptera: Polyphaga)

The superfamily Hydrophiloidea of Turkey is catalogued. A total of 23 genera and 161 valid species and subspecies are recorded of which six species (3.7%) are recorded as endemic. Forty-eight species and two subspecies are from the family Helophoridae, three species are from the family Georissidae, seven species are from the family Hydrochidae, two species are from the family Spercheidae and 95 species and four subspecies are from the family Hydrophilidae. Distributions of these species within Turkey are given according to the 81 administrative divisions of the country. The catalogue is based on examination of the primary literature and also includes some records from specimens examined in collections. Taxa are arranged hierarchically under the categories of family, subfamily, tribe, subtribe (where recognized), genus, subgenus (where recognized), species and subspecies (where recognized).     

Butterflies (Lepidoptera: Papilionoidea) of Mount Kilimanjaro: Nymphalidae subfamily Helconiinae

ABSTRACT

This paper, which presents an annotated checklist of the nymphalid subfamily Heliconiinae, is the fifth in a series on the butterfly fauna of Mount Kilimanjaro. Three genera of Heliconiinae (Acraea, Phalanta, Issoria), with a total of 12 included species, are known or believed to occur within the main forest zone, from ca 1800 to 2800 m. Of these, only two species (Acraea acuta, Issoria hanningtoni) may be restricted locally to this primary forest. The lower slopes fauna, below 1800 m, is considerably richer, with a total of four genera and 33 confirmed species listed (10 of which species extend into the forest zone). Possible additional species of Acraea, including some doubtful earlier records, are noted and discussed. An identification key to the genera of Heliconiinae that occur in Tanzania, together with a key to the adults of all heliconiine species considered to occur or likely to occur on Kilimanjaro, with 280 colour images, are included as online Supplementary Information.     

Checklist of Cynipidae of Turkey with a new genus record

The present study lists all Cynipidae reported for the Turkish fauna. We recognise 81 gall‐inducing wasps (Hymenoptera: Cynipidae). Dryocosmus cerriphilus Giraud, 1859 is recorded from Turkey for the first time.
