Thermal-induced polycondensation of soluble organic matter in coal of lower maturation stage

A brief discussion is given to the thermal-induced polycondensation of soluble organic matter (SOM) in coal during lower maturation stage, based on laboratory simulation on hydrocarbon generation from coal and on correlation with natural maturation of coal. An essential relationship between the retrogressive variation of SOM and thermal-induced polycondensation during the lower maturation stage has been established.

二连盆地由５０多个断陷组成,主要的烃源岩是下白垩统巴彦花群,从烃源岩的干酪根及热解等资料分析来看,生油岩母质类型以Ⅱ１－Ⅱ２型为主,是典型的混合型生油岩;而烃源岩的可溶性有机质鉴定结果发现含有大量的高等植物标志化合物,说明早白垩世断陷湖泊有机质主要来源于高等植物,分析认为这一现象是由于高等植物“腐泥化”的结果,并通过有机相综合分析,明确了断陷群不同相带的生烃潜力及成油特征,并指明断陷群的勘探前景．     

基于模糊物元的制造业供应链质量风险评价

鉴于供应链质量风险事件的危害性,为了帮助制造企业更有效地开展供应链质量风险管理工作,在供应链质量风险诱因分析及风险评价指标设计基础上,采用模糊物元评价方法对设定的研究对象进行供应链质量风险评价.主要是在构建复合模糊物元模型基础上,运用熵值法确定指标权重,并利用欧氏贴近度衡量风险等级.最后通过神经网络仿真,验证了基于模糊物元的供应链质量风险评价的合理性和可靠性.     

Triboelectric nanogenerator as a new technology for effective PM2.5 removing with zero ozone emission

Particles matters (PMs) have raised serious concerns due to their great impact on human health. Coupling triboelectric effect and electrostatic induction, triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG) has demonstrated as a practical sustainable power source for portable devices. The characteristics of TENG, such as high electric field and high output power, make it a promising technology in air cleaning applications. Here, the mechanism of the TENG and its application in self-powered air cleaning technologies are reviewed. Using the TENG as a voltage source, a self-powered air cleaning system for removing SO₂ and PMs is developed; and the removal efficiency of nanofiber filters is greatly enhanced due to electrostatic attraction. More importantly, the technology is not only most effective for removing nano-scale particles that cannot be effectively filtered using conventional fiber-film filters, but also produces no ozone emission. Besides being an independent power supply, a vibration TENG based triboelectric filter is designed to effectively capture the PMs from automobile exhaust fumes. Hence, the TENG demonstrates its great potential in self-powered air cleaning applications.

Drawing scales apart: The origins of Wilson's conception of effective field theories

This article traces the origins of Kenneth Wilson's conception of effective field theories (EFTs) in the 1960s. I argue that what really made the difference in Wilson's path to his first prototype of EFT are his long-standing pragmatic aspirations and methodological commitments. Wilson's primary interest was to work on mathematically interesting physical problems and he thought that progress could be made by treating them as if they could be analyzed in principle by a sufficiently powerful computer. The first point explains why he had no qualms about twisting the structure of field theories; the second why he divided the state-space of a toy model field theory into continuous slices by following a standard divide-and-conquer algorithmic strategy instead of working directly with a fully discretized and finite theory. I also show how Wilson's prototype bears the mark of these aspirations and commitments and clear up a few striking ironies along the way.
