文化差异对翻译的影响

英汉这两种各具特色、大相径庭的语言，其表达方式与文化习惯存在一定差异，是由于汉民族文化与英美文化之间存在着民族历史、社会制度、道德信仰、文学艺术、心理特点、风俗习惯、价值观念、思维方式、生活方式以及地域风貌等差异，这就要求译者从文化的角度准确再现原语所要表达的意义、方式和风格，渗透到对方的语言文化中去，语言表达才能表达准确运用自如。
