用自洽场理论 (HF)在 STO- 3G水平上对 Aln N+m(n+m=2～ 5)团簇的几何构型进行优化和频率计算 .通过对得到的各团簇基态结构的键型、键长以及键角等几何参数进行的分析和讨论表明 Al- N键为主要键型 .对其系统的能量和原子化能的比较和研究发现 ,Al N+m (m>1 )基态结构均为多重度较高的电子态对应的结构 ;在相同原子数时 Aln N+结构最稳定 .

Elastic wave scattering by two-dimensional periodical array of cylinders

We extend the multiple-scattering theory (MST) for elastic wave scattering and propagating in two-dimensional composite. The formalism for the band structure calculation is presented by taking into account the full vector character of the elastic wave. As a demonstration of application of the formalism we calculate the band structure of elastic wave propagating in a two-dimensional periodic arrangement of cylinders. The results manifest that the MST shows great promise in complementing the plane-wave (PW) approach for the study of elastic wave. Analysis of EET on Ca increasing the melting point of Mg17Al12 phase

The present investigation showed that the additions of Ca to the alloy AZ91 were mainly dissolved into the Mg17Al12 phase and increased its melting point and thermal stability, which would have great effects on the high- temperature properties of AZ91 alloy. The empirical electron theory (EET) of solid and molecules was used to calculate the valence electron structures (VES) of Mg17Al12 intermetallic compound with and without Ca addition. The results showed that Ca dissolving in Mg17Al12 phase increased the strength of bonds that control the thermal stability of Mg17Al12 phase. Additions of Ca also made the distribution of the valence electrons on the dominant bond network more uniform in the whole unit cell of Mg17Al12. The theoretical conclusions well account for the experimental results.
