基于周期图谱估计的BL Lac天体S50716+714光变周期

收集了BL Lac天体S5 0716+714从1994年到2008年的观测数据,通过周期图法和Welch提出的修正周期图谱估计法分别计算了BL Lac天体S5 0716+714光学I、R、V三个波段的光变周期,不同波段的计算都得到该天体两个较为明显的光变周期。结果表明S5 0716+714存在两个主要光变周期:一个是存在约3.33年的周期,另一个是约2.60年的周期,这一结果较好的与Raiteri等人的结论相吻合。     

基于宁波、舒兰和郑州三地新冠肺炎潜伏期的研究

通过对宁波、舒兰和郑州共3组新型冠状病毒肺炎潜伏期数据分别进行正态分布、对数正态分布、Weibull分布以及BS分布拟合检验,发现这3组数据都服从两参数BS疲劳寿命分布。针对多个两参数BS分布总体,给出了参数齐性的近似检验方法,就讨论的3组潜伏期数据可以认为其参数是相同的,并得到了刻度参数β与形状参数α的点估计,进而求得了确诊病例在其暴露开始后的14 d和21 d内出现临床症状或检测试剂呈阳性的概率分别达到0.968 412和0.997 324. 与文献相应结果比较后可知,用两参数BS分布来拟合新冠肺炎潜伏期比用Weibull分布与对数正态分布来拟合的优势明显,所分析的结果与当前的“14+7”的防控策略相吻合。     

Influence of modulation period for β-Cu2+xSe/SiC nano-multilayer films on their thermoelectric properties

In this study, β-Cu_2+xSe/SiC nano-multilayer films with different modulation period were successfully deposited on SiO₂/Si substrates by sputtering alternately using Cu–Se and SiC targets. The deposited films were observed on both surface and cross-section, and the thermoelectric properties were studied. The results show that both carrier concentration and mobility at room temperature decreased with the reducing modulation period for the nano-multilayer films. The conductivity slightly decreased and Seebeck coefficient greatly increased with the reducing modulation period. As a result of competition, the power factor of the nano multilayer films increased with the reducing modulation period because the positive effect of the Seebeck coefficient exceeded the negative effect of the conductivity. In the case of β-Cu_2+xSe/SiC nano multilayer film with the smallest modulation periods (210 ?nm), the power factor reached 0.39 ?mWm^?1K^?2 and 0.59 ?mWm^?1K^?2 at room temperature and 325 ?°C, respectively. The enhanced power factor for nano multilayer films is attributed to the scattering process at the β-Cu_2+xSe/SiC layer interface, which reduces the carrier concentration and the mobility. It is concluded that the thermoelectric properties of β-Cu_2+xSe films can be effectively improved by designing nano multilayer structure.

The effect of surgery and anesthetic agents on granulocyte-chemiluminescence in whole blood

Summary The effect of anesthesia and major abdominal surgery on zymosan-induced chemiluminescence (CL) of neutrophil granulocytes was evaluated. CL was measured in diluted whole blood taken at distinct intervals within the perioperative period. In addition, blood samples from healthy volunteers were supplemented with ether and halothane to investigate the in vitro effect of these agents. The phagocytosis-induced CL was not found to be depressed by anesthesia and surgery. Only at supranarcotic concentrations was CL reduced. Surgery and anesthesia, therefore, do not appear to impair this defense system significantly under the conditions of this investigation.
