Neuronal growth inhibitory factor inhibits pheochromo-cytoma PC12 in vitro

Neuronal growth inhibitory factor (GIF),named Metaliothioneins-Ⅲ (MT-Ⅲ), is the first protein validated to be capable of inhibiting the growth of neurons in nervous system. We have detected the effects of recombinant GIF on the growth of neuroblastoma SY5Y and pheochromocytoma PC12 by the MTT (Thiazolyl blue) reduction assay. Recombinant GIF inhibited PC12 in vitro; the inhibitory rate was about 25% when GIF was at 100 mg/L; and the inhibitory rate was about 50% when GIF was at 300 mg/L. It is shown that PC12 could serve as a proper model for detecting neuronal growth inhibitory activity of GIF. Recombinant GIF did not inhibit neuroblastoma SY5Y in vitro, a common model of neuroma; it is also shown that GIF could not inhibit neuromata extensively. The reason for GIF inhibiting PC12 may be that PC12 have some properties of cholinergic neuron. It must play an important role in discovering the mechanism of GIF's neuronal growth inhibitory activity.``

Protection of phosphatidylcholine to photosystem Ⅱ membrane during heat treatment

Photosystem Ⅱ membrane was reconstituted with phosphatidylcholine (PC) with different kinds of fatty acyl chains and the protection of PC to photosystem Ⅱ (PS Ⅱ)membrane during heat treatment was investigated using oxygen electrode, variable fluorescence and circular dichroism (CD) spectroscopy. Heat treatment decreased the oxygen evolution rate and the F′v/Fm′ ratio of PS Ⅱ membrane and influenced CD spectra of PS Ⅱ membrane, but PC inhibited the effect of heat treatment on the oxygen evolution rate, the F′v/F′m ratio and CD spectra of PS Ⅱ membrane. The results indicate that PC can protect PS Ⅱ membrane against heat treatment and the alterations in the unsaturated fatty acid extent in PC can cause the changes of the protection ability.

下下位机多机通信在车辆传动实验台中的应用

针对现有车辆传动系统实验台实际情况：只能通过下位单片机8031对实验台进行控制，下位机采集的数据无法传送给上位机。作者提出了采取上下位机多机通信的方式，以充分利用下位机控制和数据采集功能来对实验台进行改造，实现上位机对加载设备电涡流测功机加载扭矩的自动控制，并接收下位机的数据。通过用VC＋＋编写标准32位动态链接库，对上位机8250寄存器直接读写，控制程序中可方便设置数据第9位，在不需要MSCOMM控件的条件下，实现了在WIDOWS环境下基于Visual Basic的上位机和多片8031单片机的正确通信，满足了该实验台进行液力变矩器台架实验的需要，使实验台改造投资大大减少，缩短实验时间。
