The tropospheric teleconnection pattern between the Indian Ocean Dipole (IOD) and the Pacific Ocean was studied using GISST and NECP/NCAR reanalysis data. Results show that a structure of Rossby wave train extends from the tropical Indian Ocean over southern subtropical regions of Australia and Pacific Ocean to the tropical Pacific Ocean, where a strong correlation between IOD and geopotential height (GH) anomaly of Pacific Ocean exists. Energy propagating pathways of the planetary wave with wave numbers 1-3 are qualitatively in agreement with the Rossby wave train, which implies that the energy propagation of the stationary planetary wave could be responsible for the tropospheric teleconnection between IOD and tropical Pacific Ocean.  相似文献

Located in the low latitude region of the northeastern Indian Ocean, the Bay of Bengal represents one of the largest marginal seas in the world. Third-stage larvae of two species of the genus Anisakis, A. simplex (Rudolphi, 1809) and A. physeteris Baylis, 1923, and those of two types of Lappetascaris sp. are described from four species of squids from the central and western North Pacific Ocean. Larvae of Lappetascaris sp. Type A were 15-33 mm long and occurred individually free in the mantle musculature of squids, whereas those of Lappetascaris sp. Type B were considerably smaller, only 3–7 mm long, and were found in capsules on the stomach wall, each capsule containing up to 50–60 larvae. It is not known whether both larval types are conspecific or belong to two different Lappetascaris species. Anisakis simplex and A. physeteris larvae were found in Onychoteuthis borealijaponica Okada and Gonatopsis borealis Sasaki, and O. borealijaponica, respectively, whereas Lappetascaris sp. Type A and Type B larvae from Thysanoteuthis rhombus Troschel, Ommastrephes bartramii (LeSueur), Onychoteuthis borealijaponica and G. borealis, and O. bartramii, respectively. The findings represent several new host records and all these parasites are reported for the first time from squids in the central North Pacific Ocean.  相似文献

2008年1月-2009年3月西南大西洋公海滑柔鱼资源探捕调查期间,对阿根廷滑柔鱼钓捕技术进行了研究。结果表明:3种不同类型的钓钩钓捕效率有所不同,在渔况一般时,白天韩产软质钓钩的上钩率比国产钓钩高25.22%,而在夜间,国产钓钩的上钩率比韩产软质钓钩高46.26%;韩产硬质钓钩的上钩率在白天和夜间均高于国产钓钩,尤其在夜间,硬质钓钩的上钩率比国产钓钩高40.00%以上;在上钩率较高时,3种钓钩的上钩率差别不明显。6种不同颜色国产钓钩的上钩率有所不同,放钓水深较浅时,深色钓钩的上钩率均高于浅色钓钩,而放钓水深较深时,浅色钓钩的上钩率多高于深色钓钩。在鱼况一般或较差时,菱形卷扬机钓捕效率高于圆形卷扬机,而在产量较高的3-5月份渔汛期间,上钩率较高时,两种卷扬机钓捕效率相差不大。不同位置钓机的钓捕效率有所不同,其中船中位置最高。  相似文献

南海表层环流和热结构特征的数值模拟与影响因素分析   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
 采用普林斯顿海洋模式,在真实的地形数据、计算区域右边界上半部分设为开边界的条件下,对南中国海98°-126°E,3°S -26°N的范围进行了环流和温度结构的模拟。模拟从静止的海洋开始,以1月份的月平均温盐数据为初始场,在12个不同的月平均风场驱动下,模式稳定地模拟了4个模式年。从第3年开始进行数据分析。首先从数值模拟的角度给出了南海表层环流和热结构的时空演变过程,继而详细分析了气候和环境因素的影响。结果表明:冬季南海主要被一个大的气旋式环流占据,夏季主要呈大的反气旋式环流。春季和秋季是季风转换季节,南海环流在受到上一个季节影响的同时也向下一个季节的典型流态转换,并由多个涡旋组成。此外,气候和环境条件的设置,都会影响到南海的环流和热结构特征。  相似文献

Long-term passive source ocean bottom seis- mograph (OBS) observatory is challenging due to various technical difficulties. In order to gain experience in this field, and to reveal the lithospheric structure beneath the extinct ridge in the central South China Sea (SCS), we carried out a passive source OBS array experiment, which includes 18 OBSs, in the deep portion of SCS. Here we present the instrumentation, the OBS deployment and recovery of this experiment, and more importantly, the data quality evaluated by a number of approaches. Through processing and inspecting waveforms from global, regional and local earthquakes, we find that most of recovered OBSs have good data quality with discernible main phases. The ambient noise analyses of OBS recordings show that their noise is higher than the global average, and the horizontal component is noisier than the vertical, indicating current impacts on horizontal components are more severe. In the period range of 5-10 s, there is a noise notch for the SCS OBSs, and noise levels of horizontal components are comparable to the vertical. This feature, which is not seen at OBS stations in open ocean, suggests the distant sources for double frequency microseism in this marginal sea are not significant. In addition, we successfully determined the orientations for 7 OBSs by investigating their Rayleigh wave polarizations; and we demonstrated the dispersion feature of Rayleigh waves through the frequency-time analysis. Finally, we summarized lessons learned from this experiment regarding the passive source OBS investiga- tions in SCS.  相似文献
