新中国成立之初留学归国的科技工作者

新中国成立之初,2000多名海外科技工作者陆续回国,成为中国科技发展的中坚力量,他们历经坎坷的归国过程意义深远,使他们成为中国现代留学史上耀眼的群体,也是当代中国知识分子践行科学报国理念的榜样。通过对新中国成立初期留学科技工作者群体归国大潮作一历史考察,探讨了他们回国的动因、过程和回国后的工作与贡献,以揭示他们在新中国科技与教育事业扬帆起航阶段做出的重要贡献与彰显出的家国情怀。     

新生代早期南海北部水系演变

珠江在早渐新世仅是涉及华南沿海地区的小河;到晚渐新世,向西延伸到云贵高原前缘地带;到中新世,现代珠江流域格局初步形成。证据显示,南海北部还发育过一条源自南海西部隆起区的大型水系-昆莺琼古河,后淹没在南海之中,但在南海的沉积充填过程中扮演了重要角色。南海北部水系及沉积环境的重建,对于深刻认识南海新生代早期古地理特征以及该地区的油气勘探均具有重要意义。     

基于置信规则推理的武器装备体系贡献度评估

针对武器装备体系贡献度评估中存在任务与能力关联复杂、数据处理缺乏有效性等问题,提出了基于置信规则推理的体系贡献度评估方法。首先,搭建了体系贡献度评估框架,通过使命分解和作战体系分析建立了“任务-能力”关联矩阵,并在此基础上构建了网络化多层次的评估指标体系。然后,利用基于置信规则推理的评估方法对体系作战效能进行推理。最后,根据体系贡献度评估模型计算武器装备体系贡献度。以空中遮断作战体系为例进行分析验证,结果表明该方法有效反映了体系的涌现性,客观评估了武器装备的体系贡献度,能够为装备迭代更新、作战体系发展规划提供理论支持。     

Inference to the best explanation and Norton's material theory of induction

I argue that we should consider Norton's material theory of induction as consisting of two largely independent claims. First, there is the claim that material facts license inductions - a claim which I interpret as a type of contextualism about induction. Second, there is the claim that there are no universal rules of induction. While a good case can be made for the first claim, I believe that Norton's arguments for the second claim are lacking. In particular, I spell out Norton's argument against the claim that all induction may be reduced to inference to the best explanation, and argue that it is not persuasive. Rejecting this part of Norton's theory does not however require us to abandon the first claim that material facts license inductions. In this way, I distinguish the parts of the material theory of induction we should happily accept from the parts about which we should be more skeptical.     

Re-examining the impact of European astronomy in seventeenth-century China: a study of Xue Fengzuo’s system of thought and his integration of Chinese and Western knowledge

ABSTRACT

During the late Ming and early Qing period, Jesuit missionaries introduced European science into China, and thereby profoundly influenced the later development of Chinese astronomy. Not only did European astronomy become the official system of the Qing dynasty, but the traditional way to ‘attain up above’ by connecting the study of astronomy and Yi learning gradually fell into disuse. However, the astronomers in this period expressed different views on these two processes. As one of the most important early Qing astronomers, Xue Fengzuo’s case presents a distinctive and important example. Firstly, under the influences of both Chinese tradition and European science, Xue Fengzuo rebuilt the way to ‘attain up above’ based on his three-fold ‘calendrical learning’, i.e. calendrical astronomy, astrology and related pragmatic applications, through which he could realize the highest Confucian ideal. Secondly, he integrated Chinese and Western knowledge for all three aspects of his ‘calendrical learning’, instead of ceding the dominant position to Western methods. From Xue Fengzuo’s example, many of the complex effects of the encounter between different cultures and the process of knowledge transfer can be revealed.     

从盐泥中提取轻质氧化镁生产过程自动监测与控制

根据从盐泥中提取轻质氧化镁的生产工艺要求，在调查研究和实验的基础上，提出了生产过程的自动监测和控制方案—反应釜的压力、料位及搅拌速度自动调节系统、氧化镁最佳转化率的在线监控以及生产过程的ＰＣ控制。     

铅电解过程中电化学参数的在线控制

研究了柏兹法铅电解阴极活性过电位在线检测的原理和方法．根据该技术，可以确定在某种杂质浓度下，使电流效率最高、阴极析出状态最好的最佳添加剂浓度，从而在线控制铅的阴极过程．此外，对铅阳极的物理冶金和阳极泥的电化学行为进行研究，结果表明，为了提高阳极泥在阳极的附着力，必须将阳极中某些元素（主要是砷、锑和铋）控制在一个较窄的成分范围内，同时还需控制阳极铸造时的凝固速度．
