关于我国情报学定量研究的理性思考

从科学研究方法论出发,分析了定量研究与定性研究的性质以及二者的区别与联系,指出了我国情报学定量研究应用中存在的问题,探讨了研究工具与对象的匹配、定性研究与定量研究的配合以及如何看待数学工具等问题。     

Carnap on unified science

Unified science is a recurring theme in Carnap's work from the time of the Aufbau until the end of the 1930's. The theme is not constant, but knows several variations. I shall extract three quite precise formulations of the thesis of unified science from Carnap's work during this period: from the Aufbau, from Carnap's so-called syntactic period, and from Testability and Meaning and related papers. My main objective is to explain these formulations and to discuss their relation, both to each other and to other aspects of Carnap's work.     

Accountability and values in radically collaborative research

This paper discusses a crisis of accountability that arises when scientific collaborations are massively epistemically distributed. We argue that social models of epistemic collaboration, which are social analogs to what Patrick Suppes called a “model of the experiment,” must play a role in creating accountability in these contexts. We also argue that these social models must accommodate the fact that the various agents in a collaborative project often have ineliminable, messy, and conflicting interests and values; any story about accountability in a massively distributed collaboration must therefore involve models of such interests and values and their methodological and epistemic effects.

The age of synthesis: From cognitive science to converging technologies and hereafter

This paper describes the development of two of the most important scientific disciplines in the last quarter of the 20th century, cognitive science, which emerged in 1975, and nano-bio-info-cogno (NBIC) converging technologies, which emerged in 2000. In this century, we will achieve cross-disciplinary integration, innovation in comprehensive knowledge and comprehensive devel opment in human resources. NBIC converging technologies will greatly expand human cognition and communication, improve human health, enhance social outcomes, strengthen national security and unify science and education. Cognitive science and converging technologies will have major effects on the future human development. I argue that the 21st century represents an age of synthesis, reflected in the continual reintegration between scientific disciplines in recent times. This new age of synthesis will require innovations in thought and methodology that differ from those underlying the age of analysis in the 20th century. I predict that these developments will allow every individual to realize comprehensive development. Accordingly, the education system will be transformed, and a comprehensive human resources system will be created.     

从SCI引证看《中国生理学杂志》的国际影响

1927-1952年在中国大陆出版的英文期刊<中国生理学杂志>曾是一份重要学术刊物,在中国生命科学史上有不容忽视的地位和贡献.文章首先介绍了该杂志的出版情况及科学界对它的一贯好评,继而从SCI数据库的检索结果分析了该杂志在国际学术界的当时影响和长期影响.计算得到<中国生理学杂志>的影响因子至少在0.22±0.05,水平高于它的后续刊物<生理学报>.虽该杂志的出版期数和被引次数当时经常受到国际国内社会动荡的强烈干扰,但直至停刊半个多世纪后的2010年仍不断在SCI中得到引用,说明了它在国际科学界享有长期的声誉.至2010年4月,占中国生理学杂志刊发文章7.8%的56篇文章为杂志赢得50%的累计总被引次数,简要分析这56篇文章涉及的十余项研究工作,表明:高引用率的工作绝大部分出自协和医学院和医院,这类工作均属于对生命活动普遍现象的探讨,而从中国特色入手进行生理学研究的文章相对乏人问津.这一方面体现了生理学作为实验科学的本质,另一方面也反衬出<中国生理学杂志>取得的成就难能可贵.

在分析图书馆社会科学信息用户的基础上,归纳总结了图书馆社会科学信息用户需求的特点,并对以用户为中心的图书馆社会科学信息资源建设做了探讨。     

科学与人文“二生三”模式的跨学科探讨

在评述以科学为中心的“第三种文化”和以人文为中心的“第三极文化”基础上，从文理跨学科的视角，提出了以科学与人文互补为中心的新文化理路。     

论抗日根据地科技社团的发展及其作用

在中共的领导和支持下,陕甘宁、晋察冀等根据地兴起了影响深远的自然科学运动。创立各类科技社团则成为这场运动的有机组成部分。抗日根据地的科技社团在汇聚人才、培养科技干部,服务边区经济建设、推进科学知识的传播以及在参政议政、决策咨询和对外联络等方面均做出了不可磨灭的贡献。这对于今天监督和指导科技社团的健康发展仍具有一定的参考和借鉴意义。     

材料科学与工程专业综合实验的教学改革与实践

针对人才培养及专业特点，开设了应用型、模块化、综合性的材料科学与工程专业综合实验，经过改革和实践，在培养学生综合实践能力和创新意识等方面取得了较好的效果，同时也提出了进一步改革和完善的设想。
