多层膜结构磁光盘的设计与制备

本文研究了多层夹心结构磁光盘的设计与制备工艺;利用以光学薄膜导纳特征矩阵为基础的优化计算技术,计算了限制反射率的四层夹心结构的磁光特性;使用射频溅射技术制备出“133mm PC基/AlN/TbFeCo/AlN/Al”高性能磁光盘.盘片的有效Kerr旋转角θ>1°,相应的反射率R>25%,品质因子F的实验值与优化计算值一致 .     

A Network-Attached Storage System Supporting Guaranteed QoS

We propose a network-attached storage system that can support guaranteed Quality of Service （QoS）, called POPNet Storage. The special policy of date access and disk scheduling is enable users to access files quickly and directly with guaranteed QoS in the POPNet Storage. The POPNet Storage implements a measurement-based admission control algorithm （PSMBAC） to determine whether to admit a new data access request stream and admit as many requests as possible while meeting the QoS guarantees to its clients. The data reconstruction algorithms in the POPNet Storage also put more emphasis on data availability and guaranteed QoS, thus it is designed to complete the data recovery as soon as possible and at the same time provide the guaranteed QoS for high-priority data access. The experiment results show that the POPNet Storage can provide more significant performance, reliability, and guaranteed QoS than conventional storage systems.     

一种非线性的分形图像压缩编码算法

针对经典的分形压缩编码字典相对较小这一不足之处,提出一个简单的非线性分形压缩算法,简化了Popeseu等提出的算法,用于解决压缩字典较小的问题·此外,还根据这个算法给出计算整数象素点灰度值的计算公式,可以快速地计算出整数点的灰度值·实验结果表明,这一新型的分形圆盘压缩算法简单可行,并具有良好的压缩结果和高质量的重建图像·和常规分形编码方法相比,该方法还具有较高的PSNR·

Research Progress on High-Density Optical Storage Materials for Blue-Green Laser Recording

The key for the development of high -density optical storage technology nowadays is to develop short wavelength (blue-green laser) recording media and devices. Based on the progress achieved in the key program of National Natural Science Foundation of China "high-density optical storage materials using blue -green laser recording", the chemical composition, microstructure, storage performance and related mechanisms of some kinds of novel high density optical storage materials are presented in this paper. The research method and clew for super high -density optical storage materials and technologies are highlighted.

Design and Implementation of Hierarchy Cache Using Pagefile

This paper presents a novel hierarchy cache architecture for the purpose of optimizing IO performance. The main idea of the hierarchy cache is to use a few megabytes of RAM and a pagefile to form a two-level cache architecture. The pagefile is equivalent to the cache disk in DCD(Disk Caching Disk). The pagefile outperforms data disks, because data are accessed in different units and different ways. Small writes are collected in the RAM cache first, and data will be transferred to the pagefile in large writes later. When the system is idle, it will destage data from the pagefile to data disks. The performance test results show that the hierarchy cache can improve IO performance dramatically for small writes, and the mail server using the hierarchy cache driver can handle transactions about 2.2 times faster than the normal mail server. The hierarchy cache is implemented as a filter driver, so it‘s transparent to the current Windows 2000/Windows XP operating system.
