Robust function-on-function regression model with nonparametric random effects

Extended t-process is robust to outliers and inherits many attractive properties from the Gaussian process. In this paper, we provide a function-on-function nonparametric random-effects model using extended t-process priors in which we consider heterogeneity of individual effect, flexible mean function, nonparametric covariance function and robustness. A likelihood-based estimation procedure is constructed to estimate parameters involved in the model. Information consistency for the parameter estimation is provided. Simulation studies and a real data example are further investigated to evaluate the performance of the developed procedures.

Airy 方程的一类边值问题的解的相似构造法

针对Airy方程的一类边值问题,经变量替换将其转换成变型的Bessel方程的边值问题,通过研究解式的相似结构,得到了相似核函数;经分析,此边值问题可以先由Airy方程的任意两个线性无关的解和右边界条件系数构造出相似核函数,再由左边界条件中的系数决定的相似结构式进行组装,得到Airy方程的一类边值问题的解,从而获得求解该类边值问题的一个新方法———相似构造法;该方法对进一步的分析解的内在规律及编制相应的分析软件提供了新思路.     

A New Model of Damped Vibration Absorber

A new model for an untuned damped vibration absorber is put forward here in accordance with some actual mechanical structures,and its performance or responses to various system parameters of the model are also fully discussed.Generally speaking,machines should be designed to avoid working at their resonant frequencies.For some modern machines their working speeds often exceed their first even second resonant frequency,so,it is the same important for them to pass through their resonant frequencies steadily during starting or shutting down.In the paper the max peaks of the main system vibration amplitude and force transmissibility,as well as their corresponding peak frequencies are emphasized.     

Kernel matrix learning with a general regularized risk functional criterion

Kernel-based methods work by embedding the data into a feature space and then searching linear hypothesis among the embedding data points. The performance is mostly affected by which kernel is used. A promising way is to learn the kernel from the data automatically. A general regularized risk functional (RRF) criterion for kernel matrix learning is proposed. 变参数振动钻削过程中，由于轴向力，扭矩等的动态变化及不同区段加工质量特征参数的不同，导致不同的最优振动参数和最优切削数，文中通过多元正交多项式回归参数优化设计，运用概率论和数理统计原理进行振动钻削过程的参数优化，并通过对比试验验证了变参数振动钻削的优良效果。
