Epicatechin can cause the seedling growth inhibitor,nagilactone E,to induce growth stimulation

Summary A possible new role for the flavonoid (–)-epicatechin (II) is described. It has no growth effects on its own, but when it is added to lettuce and rice seeds together with the known seedling growth inhibitor nagilactone E (I), the growth inhibitor activity ofI can cease and growth stimulation can be observed.     

Insulin requirement of human leukemic cell lines

Summary The growth characteristics of human leukemic cell lines in serum supplemented medium and in serum free medium with and without the addition of insulin were investigated. No relation was found between the insulin binding capacity of the cells and their hormone-dependence for growth.This work has been supported by grant CT82.00191.04 of CNR Rome and by Regione Piemonte.

增长曲线模型回归系数的压缩最小二乘估计

本文采用压缩最小二乘估计Ｂ∧（ｍ）来估计设计阵呈病态时的增长曲线模型回归系数阵Ｂ．通过ｍ值的选取，可使β＾（ｍ）＝Ｖｅｃ（Ｂ∧（ｍ））的均方误差小于β＝Ｖｅｃ（Ｂ）的ＬＳＥβ∧的均方误差．证明了β∧（ｍ）具有可容许性、抗干扰性和有效性，并给出了实际应用中选取ｍ值的方法．     

因子与奇偶性

本文推广了(g,f)一因子的概念,对次限制子图进一步加进了次的奇偶性限制。主要结果是-个图含有这种奇偶性限制子图的充分必要条件。这个条件推广了Tutte和Lovasz关于f-因子和(g,f)-因子的有关定理。

详细研究了高速钢中形核—长大方式动态再结晶时形核机制、长大过程，描述了各阶段的组织特征。分析了第二相析出对这一过程的影响。

An initial discussion on major controlling factors on formation of coal-formed large-medium gas fields

The so-called "large-medium gas field" means a gas field with proven reserves equal to or larger than 100×108 m3.Up to 1997,23 coal-formed great-medium fields are discovered in China,excluding two in Taiwan Province.Their proven reserves take 50.9% in total natural gas reserves.Therefore,the coal-formed great-medium gas field plays a decisive role in natural gas reserves and the study of their controlling factors is very important both in theory and in practice.There are six major controlling factors on the formation of coal-formed large-medium gas fields:(ⅰ) The generating center of coal-formed gas and its surrounding area; (ⅱ) low potential area; (ⅲ) late pool-forming period; (ⅳ) traps related to the paleo-uplifits in coal-formed gas area; (ⅴ) above or between abnormally pressured compartments; (ⅵ) faulted traps related to coal-bed.
